Agape love is not a love that we produce, but it is the love of God that He produces in us!

By far, the kind of love the Bible refers to most often is agape love. It has nothing to do with romance or natural affection or sentimentality. It is not dependent on physical attractiveness, personality, or even a harmonious atmosphere.

Agape love is a DECISION that commits itself to the well being of another, regardless of the REACTION of the one being loved.

We do not love because we are naturally capable—we love because God first loved us and continues to love through us.
When Christ lives in us, His love flows from us.

Gifts may reveal what God has empowered me to do, but fruit reveals who I am becoming in Christ.

A person can be talented and spiritually gifted, yet still lack the character that reflects Jesus. Spiritual gifts showcase ministry effectiveness, but the fruit of the Spirit displays true maturity.

Don’t just pray to be gifted but also pray to be fruitful.

The Fruit of the Spirit is not an option, but an essential part of the Christian experience!

We were created to be a dwelling place for the Spirit of God. Without Him in our lives things quickly get out of hand, as our flesh dictates our patterns of behavior. The Bible calls this the works of the flesh.

The Fruit of the Spirit may develop at different rates in different people, but it MUST be developing!
