PARISH UPDATE!

The OLMHRPS Alangilan Youth Organization took part in hands-on preparations for the upcoming Flores de Mayo Culmination on May 31, 2026. The youth worked together in setting up the papal Flag, canopy and roof, showing our unity and dedication for the parish celebration.

Today, the OLMHRPS Alangilan Youth Organization conducted a meeting in preparation for the upcoming Flores de Mayo Culmination on May 31, 2026. The meeting focused on the planning, coordination, and final preparations to ensure an organized and meaningful celebration for the parish community.

The meeting was headed by the organization’s youth advisers together with the youth leaders to guide and oversee the preparations for the upcoming celebration.

Our hearts go out to our brothers and sisters affected by the recent fire incident in Brgy. 14. In this time of hardship, we humbly ask for your kindness and generosity.

The Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish & Shrine – Alangilan is calling on all parishioners and the entire Brgy. Alangilan community to extend help to those in need.

We urgently need donations ASAP to support the affected families.

We are currently accepting the following donations:
• Kitchen & eating utensils
• Plates and glasses (baso)
• Personal hygiene kits
• Drinking water
• Ready-to-eat food and other food items

Any form of help, big or small, will make a meaningful difference to the affected families.

Yesterday, during our parish celebration of Easter Sunday, joy filled the day through a fun activity called "𝗜𝘁𝗹𝗼𝗴 𝗠𝗼, 𝗸𝗮𝗽𝗸𝗮𝗽 𝗠𝗼". Instead of the usual egg hunt, children were blindfolded and asked to pick eggs placed on a table. Some eggs were marked and contained prizes.

This activity was organized and spearheaded by the catechists, while the youth organization facilitated the program flow. It was a meaningful and enjoyable way to celebrate the Resurrection of the Lord.

“𝗞𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝗶𝗸𝗮𝘄, 𝘀𝗶𝗻-𝗼? 𝗞𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗴, 𝘀𝗮𝗻-𝗼?”

Answering the call starts with courage.
Our two seminarians, 𝗦𝗲𝗺. 𝗝𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗗𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿 and 𝗦𝗲𝗺. 𝗞𝗲𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝘆𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗲𝘃𝗮 from Sacred Heart Seminary, conducted a Vocation Campaign at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish & Shrine.

They emphasized the different types of vocation, the Married Life, Single Blessedness, and Religious Life, as they shared the joy of their seminary journey and invited young men to courageously answer the call to the priesthood or religious life.

They also invited everyone to watch their theatrical performance titled “𝘼𝙣𝙜 𝙂𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙮 𝙣𝙜𝙖 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙥𝙚” on February 12, 13, and 14.
