Today, February 15, 2026, the Youth of St. Matthew Quasi-Parish successfully held a 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞’𝐬 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 with the theme, “𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝑰𝒕 𝑯𝒖𝒓𝒕𝒔, 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒔.”

The event became a meaningful gathering of young people united in prayer, reflection, and fellowship. It served as a powerful reminder that God’s healing does not erase our painful memories but lovingly redeems them, transforming our wounds into sources of strength and a deeper, more steadfast faith.

The youth actively participated and demonstrated beautiful unity throughout the program. Truly, the presence of Jesus Christ was felt in the spirit of togetherness, joy, and faith shared during the assembly.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our guest speaker, 𝐒𝐞𝐦. 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐲 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐳, for generously sharing God’s Word and inspiring the youth to embrace healing and grow stronger in faith. 💕✨

This morning, February 14, 2026, the married couples of St. Matthew Quasi-Parish joyfully and prayerfully renewed their sacred marriage vows.

This meaningful celebration reminded everyone of the grace of the Sacrament of Matrimony and the beauty of lifelong commitment.

In celebration of the 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐋𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐬 tomorrow, February 11, 2026, everyone is invited to join the Marian procession at St. Matthew Quasi-Parish, which will begin at 4:30 PM, to be followed by the Holy Mass.

In preparation for the Feast of Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria this February 2 2026, candles will be sold at ₱100 each as part of the Youth Fundraising Activity.

Selling will be until 5:00 AM only, to be followed by the Blessing of Candles and Holy Mass. Your support helps sustain the youth’s mission and service in the Church.

The festivity of Señor Sto. Niño continues today as the parishioners gather this morning for a procession, followed by the awarding of the Sto. Niño look-a-like contest. The following winners are as follows.

Today’s celebration reminds us to remain child-like in faith as we honor the Sto. Niño. We are called to live with humility, simplicity, and trust in God.

The first judging of the Sto. Niño Look-Alike Contest was held today at 3:00 PM at St. Matthew Quasi-Parish. Seven (7) contestants from different B.E.C.s joyfully participated, each child beautifully represented their love for Señor Sto. Niño.

The Catholic Church will celebrate the Feast of the Santo Niño on January 18, 2026. The first and oldest image of the Child Jesus in the Philippines arrived in 1521, brought by the Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan. The second and third images were later introduced in 1572 and 1581, further strengthening and deepening the Filipinos’ devotion to the Santo Niño.

We celebrate today the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord, which brings the Christmas season to a quiet yet powerful close. This feast reveals who Jesus truly is and how He chooses to begin His public ministry. As Jesus steps into the waters of the Jordan, He does so not because He is in need of repentance, but because He desires complete solidarity with humanity. Standing among sinners, He sanctifies the waters and transforms them into a source of new life, foreshadowing the saving grace that will flow from His death and resurrection.

John the Baptist hesitates, fully aware of his own unworthiness, yet Jesus insists—revealing that God’s way is the way of humility. In this sacred moment, heaven is opened, the Holy Spirit descends like a dove, and the voice of the Father is heard proclaiming, “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.” This profound Trinitarian revelation confirms Jesus as the Son of God and marks the beginning of His mission to restore humanity’s broken relationship with the Father.

The Feast of the Baptism of the Lord is not only about Christ; it is also about us. By entering the waters, Jesus points us toward our own baptism, through which we are cleansed of sin, reborn as children of God, and called to share in His mission. Just as Jesus emerges from the Jordan to proclaim the Kingdom of God, we too are sent forth to live our faith each day—through love, justice, mercy, and humble service.

This feast reminds us that baptism is not a one-time event, but a lifelong calling. We are named and claimed by God, sealed with the Holy Spirit, and invited to listen attentively to the Father’s voice echoing over our lives. In Christ, we are beloved, and through Him, we are continually called to walk as light in the world, faithful to the grace first poured out upon us in the waters of baptism.

St. Matthew Quasi-Parish joyfully welcomes the new image of St. Matthew.

After post communion prayer during the 7am Mass, devotees offered candles in heartfelt devotion, and the new image was solemnly blessed by Rev. Fr. Ernesto Salvador.

May this sacred image inspire us to grow deeper in faith and follow Christ with the same devotion and courage shown by St. Matthew.
