"Through our own experience of abuse, we have the rich and redemptive opportunity to press our wounds into the wounds of Christ. He grieves with us, bearing the pain and weight of the sins committed against us. Jesus assumes the deadly effects of the abuse as we release them to Him." β€” Andrew Comiskey β™₯️

Thank You, Jesus, that in knowing what it was like to be abused, You have given us a safe place to face our pain, release our anger, grieve our loss, and embrace Your comfort. Indeed, it is by Your stripes that we are healed πŸ˜πŸŒŠπŸ™ŒπŸΌβœοΈ

β€œCome, all of you who are thirsty and drink of Me” -- Jesus

Inner Healing Conference: Meeting Jesus Where It Hurts is an oasis in the desert of
isolation, loneliness, despair, and other emotional hurts. A place for those coping with
the effects of abuse, abandonment, rejection and other traumatic experiences; and how they medicate the pain in illicit sexual relationships, adultery, fornication, po*******hy and online voyeurism.

This conference is not a how-to seminar for more biblical knowledge but an experience of the mercy of Jesus. It’s for everyone who says Yes to Jesus’ invitation: β€œIf anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink” (Jn. 7:37)

This conference is also a call for churches to open their doors to these thirsty ones and create an oasis – a safe, healing place – for those struggling in their relationships and sexuality. Equipping churches to walk with people in their mess.

That oasis shall welcome the LGBTQ+ identified seeking to encounter
Jesus, full of grace and truth. A pathway for churches to love the gender confused without compromising biblical truths. It shall also help parents navigate what it means to love their LGBTQ-identified children with Jesus’ truth that sets them free.

And finally, the conference shall rouse our Church to push back the woke influences that hijack our children; and fight the insidious gender fluidity that mars the Imago Dei.
This conference is about being healed to fight for the healing of the next generations!

Speakers are Andy Comiskey, founder and director of Desert Stream Ministries, a US-based global sexual redemption ministry and the Living Waters Philippines team led by its director Benji Cruz.

β€œOur pursuit of sexual wholeness is complicated and painful... Self-understanding permits the mercy and power of Jesus to be applied specifically to the roots of our sexual and relational confusion. Instead of chastening ourselves for such confusion, we can view its components, some over which we had little control, and begin to exercise God’s compassion upon ourselves. This lays the groundwork for healing and righteous choice-making.” β€” Andrew Comiskey

Thank You, Abba, for helping us identify the gaps in our gender development and for meeting us in our attachment wounds, lack, other injuries and confusion πŸ˜πŸ«‚β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

β€œJesus is the β€˜man of sorrows.’ He wants to converse with us about our wounds; He wants to feel them with us. On a practical, deeply personal level, Jesus wants to bear our sorrows.” β€” Andrew Comiskey ✝️

Thank You, Jesus, for meeting us in our pain as you gently reveal our wounds. There is nothing like your safe presence, your healing word, your empathy & your embrace πŸ˜πŸ«‚β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

β€œAs we become known in our addictions, grace and truth begin to enter into the areas of longing and pain. We begin to discover God. He reveals Himself in private devotion and godly relationships. Both summon our true desire for love.” β€” Andrew Comiskey ❀️‍πŸ”₯

Thank You, Jesus, that as we confront our addictions, you also begin to show us our true desires. Thank You for meeting us in our deepest longings πŸ˜πŸŒŠπŸ™ŒπŸΌβœοΈ

"Our Father gives each of us a risky freedom: He invites us to welcome Him as our Source, worship Him, grow into His glorious will for our gendered selves, and help others do the same. Or we can go with the world’s flow, deify our desires, and support 'alternate identities.' When we do, we worship and serve the creature, not the Creator. We commit idolatry." β€” Andrew Comiskey πŸ”₯

Thank You, Holy Spirit, for revealing the hidden idols of our hearts. We smash them at the foot of the Cross, and choose you, over and over JESUS! Please help us to remain steadfast and loyal to you, in Your Mighty Name, we pray, amen βœοΈπŸ™ŒπŸΌβ€οΈβ€πŸ”₯
