We continue to gather and journey together through the Book of Matthew in our series, โ€œThe King and His Kingdom Peopleโ€โ€”learning more about Christ our King and the kind of people we are called to be in His Kingdom.

Topic: The Compassionate and Generous King; The Supernatural Providence of Christ.
Text: Matthew 14:13-21

A rest from our weekly routine through fellowship with Godโ€™s peopleโ€”digging deeper and soaking together in the Word of God through Ptr. Glenn De La Serna.

A blessed Sunday indeed as we gathered together in worship and in Godโ€™s Word. Our morning began with the Equip Class at 9:30 a.m. on the topic about ๐‘ฉ๐’Š๐’ƒ๐’๐’Š๐’„๐’‚๐’ ๐‘ป๐’‰๐’†๐’๐’๐’๐’ˆ๐’š from our series, โ€œ9 ๐‘ด๐’‚๐’“๐’Œ๐’” ๐’๐’‡ ๐’‚ ๐‘ฏ๐’†๐’‚๐’๐’•๐’‰๐’š ๐‘ช๐’‰๐’–๐’“๐’„๐’‰.โ€

Worship Service at 10:30 a.m., a continuation from the Book of Matthew from our series, โ€œ๐‘ป๐’‰๐’† ๐‘ฒ๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ ๐’‚๐’๐’… ๐‘ฏ๐’Š๐’” ๐‘ฒ๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ๐’…๐’๐’Ž ๐‘ท๐’†๐’๐’‘๐’๐’†.โ€

It was also Communion Sunday, a meaningful time of remembering the Lordโ€™s sacrifice. ๐Ÿฅ–๐Ÿท

Ofcourse a lunch fellowship after the serviceโ€”enjoying not just the food shared by every member, but also fellowship with one another. Grateful for this day of worship and community! ๐Ÿ™

We continue in the Gospel of Matthew through our series โ€œ๐‘ป๐’‰๐’† ๐‘ฒ๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ ๐’‚๐’๐’… ๐‘ฏ๐’Š๐’” ๐‘ฒ๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ๐’…๐’๐’Ž ๐‘ท๐’†๐’๐’‘๐’๐’†.โ€ Today we turned to Matthew 13:1-16 where Jesus Christ begins teaching in parablesโ€”especially the Parable of the Sower.

Parables teach us that those who are open to God will understand more and those with closed hearts will not. Parables reveal the truth to sincere seekers while hiding it from the hardened.

The Parable of the Sower also reveals that there can be different kinds of hearts, whichโ€”will let us examine which kind of heart do we have. Is it hardened? Or is receptive? โ™ฅ๏ธ

Join us this Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 9:30 AM for our Equip Class and 10:30 AM for our Worship Service as we continue in the Gospel of Matthew.

Weโ€™ll be returning to Matthew 10:34โ€“42 with our sermon titled โ€œThe Kingโ€™s Laborer: The Cost and Reward of Following Christ.โ€ In this passage, Jesus soberly teaches that allegiance to Him may bring division, loss, and sacrifice, yet He also assures His disciples that no costly obedience or faithful service rendered for His sake will ever go unnoticed or unrewarded by the King.

Letโ€™s prepare our hearts to hear the Word preached by reading ahead in Matthew 10:34โ€“42 and listening to the songs in advance.
