During our Sabbath School, Bakyas Youth discussed this weekโ€™s lesson study, โ€œ๐‘บ๐’Š๐’ ๐’๐’‡ ๐’•๐’‰๐’† ๐‘ช๐’‰๐’–๐’“๐’„๐’‰.โ€ Through thoughtful discussions and active participation, we reflected on the challenges that can arise within the church and were reminded of Godโ€™s call for humility, faithfulness, unity, and genuine repentance as His people.

For our Divine Service, we were blessed to hear an inspiring message from ๐‘ฉ๐’“๐’. ๐‘บ๐’‚๐’Ž ๐‘ฒ๐’†๐’“๐’—๐’š ๐‘ซ๐’‚๐’๐’† ๐’…๐’†๐’๐’‚ ๐‘ป๐’๐’“๐’“๐’† entitled โ€œ๐‘ซ๐’Š๐’”๐’„๐’Š๐’‘๐’๐’Š๐’๐’† ๐’—๐’”. ๐‘ซ๐’†๐’—๐’๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’,โ€ with ๐‘ช๐’๐’๐’๐’”๐’”๐’Š๐’‚๐’๐’” 3:23 as our key text:

His message reminded us that while discipline is important in our Christian walk, true transformation comes from a heart filled with genuine devotion to God. Our service should never be driven by routine alone but by our love for Christ.

A special highlight of the program was hearing the testimonies of our Bakyas Youth who attended ๐‘จ๐’…๐’—๐’†๐’๐’• ๐‘พ๐’๐’“๐’Œ๐’”๐’‰๐’๐’‘ 2026. Their experiences encouraged us all as they shared how God worked in their lives, strengthened their faith, and inspired them to continue serving Him with joyful hearts.

May we continue to grow not only in discipline but, more importantly, in our devotion to God. Let us serve Him wholeheartedly in everything we do. ๐Ÿคโœจ

Some weeks change your schedule. Others change your perspective. ๐Ÿ—“๏ธ๐Ÿ‘€

For seven days, we found ourselves slowing down and simply being ๐๐ž๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ๐ž ๐‡๐ข๐ฆ. Between worship services, masterclasses, care groups, booths and countless moments of laughter, God had a way of meeting us in both the loudest and quietest parts of the week.

One thing that stayed with us was ๐‡๐ž๐›๐ซ๐ž๐ฐ๐ฌ 12:2โ€”โ€œ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ฑ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ž๐ฒ๐ž๐ฌ ๐จ๐ง ๐‰๐ž๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฌโ€ฆ ๐…๐จ๐ซ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ฃ๐จ๐ฒ ๐ฌ๐ž๐ญ ๐›๐ž๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ๐ž ๐‡๐ข๐ฆ ๐‡๐ž ๐ž๐ง๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐œ๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ๐ฌ.โ€ It made the words of our theme song feel even more personal: โ€œ๐ˆ๐Ÿ ๐ˆโ€™๐ฆ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ฃ๐จ๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐‰๐ž๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐š๐ฐ ๐š๐ญ ๐‚๐š๐ฅ๐ฏโ€™๐ซ๐ฒ, ๐Ž ๐ฐ๐ก๐ฒ ๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ ๐ˆ ๐ญ๐š๐ซ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ž?โ€ Itโ€™s overwhelming to think that while Jesus endured the cross, He saw the joy that would come after it. He endured because He knew what was ahead.

Looking back, Advent Workshop wasnโ€™t just a program. It became a space where we were reminded that our identity is found in Christ, that healing often happens little by little, that storms donโ€™t always mean weโ€™ve taken the wrong path, and that Godโ€™s grace is always greater than our failures.

We came home with photos, tired voices, and new friendshipsโ€”but more than anything, we came home carrying truths we know weโ€™ll remember long after the week ended.

Thereโ€™s something beautiful about spending seven days simply learning what it means to be ๐๐ž๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ๐ž ๐‡๐ข๐ฆ. ๐Ÿ’›
