BUDS Installs New Officers for 2026-2027 Term

The Bacolod Union of Diocesan Seminarians (BUDS) officially installed its new set of officers for the 2026–2027 term on July 16, 2026. The oath-taking ceremony, held at the Bishop's House in Bacolod City, was administered by the Apostolic Administrator of Bacolod, Bishop Patricio Buzon, together with the BUDS Adviser and Vocation Director, Fr. Carl Quinto.

The new officers are as follows:

President: Sem. Aldin Constantino – an incoming third-year Theology seminarian at the University of Santo Tomas (UST). He is a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Bata, Bacolod City.

Secretary General: Sem. Ralph Martin Inventor – an incoming second-year Theology seminarian at UST, representing St. Jude Thaddeus Parish in Alijis, Bacolod City.

Treasurer (two-year term): Sem. John Rey Ardonia – an incoming third-year Theology seminarian at UST, hailing from Our Lady of Candles Parish in the Municipality of San Enrique.

Manila Representative: Sem. Nikko Nacion – an incoming third-year Licentiate in Theology seminarian at UST, from Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in the Municipality of Valladolid.

Jaro Representative: Sem. Francis Rey Canete – a second-year Theology seminarian at St. Joseph Regional Seminary. He belongs to Immaculate Conception Quasi-Parish in Central Ma-ao, Bago City.

Bacolod Representative: Sem. Angelo Aldea – a fourth-year Philosophy seminarian at Sacred Heart Seminary-Bacolod, from St. Mary Magdalene Parish in the Municipality of Hinigaran.
