The San Juan Nepomuceno Parish continues its journey toward establishing a sustainable Parish Stewardship Ministryโan initiative that seeks to strengthen our culture of stewardship, generosity, and shared responsibility in the life and mission of the Church.
The Parish Stewardship Ministry began a year ago through the initiative and vision of our Parish Priest, Very Rev. Fr. Lou-an P. Torrefranca, VF. He entrusted Rev. Fr. Norman S. Egay and his team with the task of helping organize and lead the Stewardship Committee. Through their dedication, the program has taken its first steps in fostering a culture of generosity and shared responsibility in our parish.
Today, we continue what has been startedโnot simply to maintain the program, but to strengthen it and help it grow into a sustainable ministry for the years to come.
At the heart of this continuing effort is the parish's Modified Tithing Program, which encourages parishioners to participate more actively in supporting the pastoral, evangelizing, and missionary needs of the parish through the sharing of their Time, Talent, and Treasure.
As part of this next phase, an organizational meeting was conducted to establish the Parish Stewardship Technical Working Group (TWG). The meeting brought together parishioners who expressed their willingness to become part of this new chapterโcontributing their time, ideas, skills, and commitment toward the formation, recruitment, organization, and development of the ministry.
This is more than simply creating another parish organization. It is about building a culture where everyone recognizes that they have something to share, something to contribute, and a role to play in the mission of the Church.
May the Lord bless this continuing journey of stewardship and inspire more parishioners to discover the joy of giving, serving, and building together.
"It is more blessed to give than to receive." โ Acts 20:35 ๐
