In 60 A.D., St. Jude penned an epistle to Eastern Christians, urging them to remain steadfast in their faith amidst difficult circumstances.

His letter inspired countless ordinary people to cultivate an extraordinary faith in Jesus, empowering them to accomplish remarkable things through His love.

As a result of the epistle's wondrous impact on others, along with the unheard acts of faith and miracles that God worked through these people, St. Jude became the patron saint of desperate and impossible causes.

St. Jude Thaddeus died a martyr's death due to his unwavering faith and dedication in serving Christ and spreading the gospel. As tradition tells us, he was clubbed to death and his head was then shattered with an ax.

Sometime after his death, his body was brought to Rome and placed in a crypt in Saint Peterโ€™s Basilica.

His martyrdom tells us that we may face difficulties and even death for our faith, but our belief in God's love and mercy will provide us hope and strength.
