Today, we rejoice in the victory of life over death, light over darkness, and hope over despair. The Resurrection of our Lord reminds us that no suffering is in vain and that God’s love triumphs above all.

April 4 - BLACK SATURDAY

Black Saturday is the day when Jesus lay in the tomb. It is a time of deep silence, mourning, and hope. The Church does not celebrate Mass during the day, as we remember the stillness of the world without Christ.

Yet, this silence is not empty, it is filled with expectation. As night falls, we prepare for the Easter Vigil, where darkness is overcome by the light of the Risen Christ.

Good Friday is a solemn day when we remember the Passion and Death of our Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross. It is a time of silence, prayer, fasting, and reflection, as the Church invites us to meditate on the depth of Christ’s suffering and His immense love for humanity. On this day, no Holy Mass is celebrated; instead, we gather for the Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion and venerate the Cross, the very symbol of our salvation.

April 2 - HOLY THURSDAY

It is the night of the Last Supper, when Jesus Christ instituted the Eucharist, offering His Body and Blood as a lasting presence among us.

It is also the night He washed His disciples’ feet,
teaching us that true discipleship is rooted in humility and service. We are invited not just to remember but to enter into this mystery of love.
