Today, we remember Our Lady of Sorrows, a Mother who knew deep pain yet never stopped trusting in God. Through every sorrow, Mary remained faithful, quietly carrying her suffering with love, courage and a heart surrendered to the Lord.

Her life reminds us that when our own hearts are heavy and our burdens seem too difficult to bear, we do not have to walk alone. May Mary teach us to remain steadfast in prayer, to trust God even when we cannot understand His plans and to find strength in faith during our darkest moments.

May Our Lady of Sorrows gently embrace all those who are hurting, grieving, or carrying silent burdens. Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us and teach us to remain faithful through every sorrow.

September 14 | Feast of The Exaltation of the Holy Cross

Today, we exalt the Holy Crossโ€”the sacred sign of Christโ€™s love, sacrifice, and our salvation.

As St. John Vianney reminds us, โ€œIt is in loving the cross that we find true peace, not running from it.โ€ May we learn to embrace our own crosses with faith, trusting that God can transform our struggles into paths of grace, hope, and new life.

May the Cross be our strength in times of weakness, our hope in times of difficulty, and our constant reminder of Christโ€™s unfailing love.

O Crux Ave, Spes Unica โ€” Hail, O Cross, Our Only Hope.

On this 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time, the Word of God reminds us of the importance of forgiving without limit. In the Gospel, Jesus teaches us that forgiveness should not have a measure, for we ourselves have received Godโ€™s mercy time and time again.

Forgiveness does not mean that the hurt did not matter or that what happened was right. Rather, it is a choice to release the anger and resentment that can weigh heavily on our hearts. Sometimes, the other person may never ask for forgiveness or may not understand the pain they have caused. Still, we are called to forgiveโ€”not because they deserve it, but because God has shown us mercy.

May our hearts be peaceful and filled with Godโ€™s love.

Have a Blessed Sunday! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

Today, the Church celebrates the Most Holy Name of Mary, honoring the name of the Blessed Virgin who was chosen by God to become the Mother of His Son. We also do commemorate the privileges given to Mary by God and all the graces received through her intercession and mediation.

Reflecting on the words of St. Alphonsus Liguori, โ€ , may we be reminded that calling upon Mary draws our hearts toward the salvation found in her Son, Jesus Christ. And may we be more eager to seek her intercession as she leads us closer to Jesus.

St. Peter Claver dedicated his life to serving enslaved Africans, carrying out his mission with extraordinary compassion and selfless love for more than three decades. He cared for the sick and suffering, provided them their needs, guided them in the faith, and continued to accompany and encourage them even after they were sent away. Through his tireless service and advocacy for their humane treatment, he became a powerful witness to Christ's boundless love for the marginalized and suffering.

As we commemorate his memorial, let us reflect on his inspiring words, โ€ These words remind us that love is best expressed not only through what we say, but through what we willingly do for others. May we, like St. Peter Claver, learn to put our faith into action by serving with compassion and generosity, most especially to have a heart that recognizes Christ in those who are most in need.

Today, we simply celebrate our Blessed Mother because she was created and brought into this world by God and that alone is worth celebrating. We honor her simply because we love her, and we celebrate her birthday as we would celebrate the birthday of anyone we love and cherish.

Today, let us reflect on the beautiful truth that Mama Mary is our Mother, too. She truly is our Mother, and her birthday is worth celebrating just as we would celebrate the birthday of a beloved member of our family.

Honoring Mama Mary today is a way of strengthening our bond with her and assuring her that we desire her to be an important part of our lives. May we always keep her close to our hearts and allow her to lead us closer to her Son, Jesus.

Happy birthday, Blessed Mother! We love you dearly. Please pray for us and our family, today and always.

This was the message of Fr. Francis in his homily, reflecting on the Gospel of Matthew 6:24โ€“32 and reminding us to place our trust in God above all else.

Forgiveness is not always easy, especially when we have been hurt. Yet, when we choose to forgive, we free ourselves from anger, resentment, and the burdens of the past. Forgiveness allows our hearts to heal and opens us to the peace and freedom that God desires for us.

May we learn to let go of the things that weigh our hearts down and trust in Godโ€™s providence. May we have the courage to forgive, not only for the sake of others, but also for our own healing and freedom.

Let us remember that in Christ, we are called to live with love, faith, and a heart that is free.
