Core Values
True to its mission and vision, St. Jude Thaddeus Youth Choir proves that our voices can bring solace to hopeless souls. This takes as an instrument of God to heal people through his words and praise by singing it with heavenly voices in exquisite harmony. The most important aspect is to let music flow in your heart and enrich your soul. As a way, we encourage the youth to serve God by using their voices, boosting their self-esteem, and embracing the gift that God has given them, as well as to uphold the highest standards of leadership, performance, devotion, and maturity while serving as a voice of hope for the oppressed in our society.

Late post but full of memories ๐ŸŒžโ›ฑ๏ธ
Last May 27, our choir family had a fun and meaningful team building. Every game taught us something about teamwork, trust, and friendship. Hereโ€™s a look back at what we did:

๐Ÿ–๏ธGame 1:
We started by lining up, boys and girls separated. Each of us picked a puzzle piece, and the challenge was to find where our piece belonged. It reminded us that every person is important, and together we complete the bigger picture.

๐Ÿ–๏ธGame 2:
We were divided into three groups: Team Hug, Team Build My Heart, and Team Brazilian Sexy Baboy. Each group made their own chant. It was noisy, creative, and funโ€”showing how different voices can still bring energy when united.

๐Ÿ–๏ธGame 3:
We swam across the pool to get a cup piece, then tapped our teammate so they could swim next. It was tiring but exciting, teaching us patience and teamwork as we waited for each other to finish.

๐Ÿ–๏ธGame 4:
Each group lined up and passed water backwards using cups until the last personโ€™s cup was full. The group with the most water won. This game showed us how careful teamwork can lead to success.

๐Ÿ–๏ธGame 5:
We carried the puzzle across the pool without using our hands and without getting it wet. Every group had their own strategy, and we had to find Manong Toga to pass the challenge. It was tricky but fun, reminding us to be creative and resourceful.

๐Ÿ–๏ธGame 6:
At night, we sat in a circle and shared our wishesโ€”for our loved ones, for the choir, and for ourselves. This was a quiet and heartfelt moment, helping us open up and understand each other better.

๐Ÿ–๏ธGame 7:
We each brought an egg and shared how we kept it safe. The lesson was about protecting something fragile, just like how we should take care of our lives and the people we love.

It was a day full of laughter, challenges, and lessons. More than the games, it was about growing closer as one choir family. ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ’š

Yesterday was Motherโ€™s Day and we thanked God for all mothers, grandmothers, and mother-figures. We thanked Him for the love that woke up early and stayed up late, for the patience you gave when you were running on nothing, and for the quiet sacrifices that no one clapped for but heaven saw. We thanked you for every meal made with tired hands, every piece of advice given with a full heart, every tear you wiped and every prayer you whispered when we couldnโ€™t find the words ourselves. If that day felt heavy because of loss, longing, or broken relationships, please know you werenโ€™t forgotten.

Yesterday, we celebrated 34 years of your service as priests. You have been with us through so many momentsโ€”celebrating our joys and helping us through our hard times.

Your kindness, guidance, and quiet strength have touched many lives. Because of you, many people felt closer to God and found comfort and hope.

We are truly thankful for your service, your sacrifices, and the love you shared with the Church and the community every day. We pray that the Lord will continue to bless you with good health, strength, and more years in your mission.

The Lord is our shepherd, and we donโ€™t have to be afraid. He walks with us, takes care of us, and gives us what we truly need. Even in hard times, He stays with us and never lets go.

As a youth choir, we sing this with our hearts. We stand as one, and no one is left behind. When someone feels down, we lift them up with our voices and our care. God is our shepherd, and He also teaches us to take care of each other. This week, letโ€™s not just sing, but also share His love with othersโ€”our friends, our family, and those who feel alone.
