Today, August 11, 2026, the ๐•ธ๐–”๐–˜๐–™ ๐•ฝ๐–Š๐–›. ๐•ท๐–”๐–š๐–Ž๐–Š ๐•ป๐–†๐–™๐–†๐–‘๐–Ž๐–“๐–Œ๐–๐–š๐–Œ ๐•ฒ๐–†๐–‘๐–‡๐–Ž๐–“๐–Š๐–˜, ๐•ฏ.๐•ฏ. was officially installed as the 7๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ƒ๐ข๐จ๐œ๐ž๐ฌ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐๐š๐œ๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐.

At the heart of his episcopal identity is his motto: ๐˜พ๐™Š๐™‰๐™๐™„๐˜ฟ๐™Š โ€” โ€œ๐—œ ๐˜๐—ฟ๐˜‚๐˜€๐˜.โ€ A simple yet profound expression of faith, surrender, and confidence in the love and mercy of God.

This trust is beautifully reflected in his coat of arms, where the Heart of Jesus takes prominence, radiating rays of red and blue that unite the devotions to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Divine Mercy. It speaks of the very foundation of his conviction: that even amid moments of uncertainty and deep discernment, Godโ€™s love and mercy remain greater than our fears and unworthiness.

The coat of arms also bears the monogram of Mary, our Queen, pointing to his deep entrustment to the Blessed Mother, while the Dominican Cross recalls the formation and years of study that shaped his journey to the priesthood.

Today, as he begins his ministry as our shepherd, may his motto, ๐˜พ๐™Š๐™‰๐™๐™„๐˜ฟ๐™Š, become a prayer for the whole Diocese of Bacolod: we trust in the Lord, we trust in His mercy, and we trust in the path He has prepared for His Church.

With Louie, our Bishop, we continue to pray for wisdom, strength, humility, and courage as he shepherds the people entrusted to his care. May the Sacred Heart of Jesus guide his ministry, and may Mary, our Queen, always accompany him.

Today, on St. John Mary Vianney Sunday, we give thanks to God for the gift of the priesthood and honor all priests who faithfully dedicate their lives in service to the Church.

With grateful hearts, we especially recognize our beloved Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Armando B. Onion, for his unwavering dedication, guidance, and pastoral care to our parish community.

SOLEMNITY OF THE MOST HOLY BODY AND BLOOD OF CHRIST | CORPUS CHRISTI

Today, we celebrate the gift of the Holy Eucharistโ€”the true Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, offered for the salvation of the world.

As we gather in faith and thanksgiving, may this sacred feast deepen our love for Christ present in the Blessed Sacrament and inspire us to become living witnesses of His love, mercy, and compassion.

Through the participation of our youth, families, and community, we joyfully honored the ๐๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ž๐ ๐•๐ข๐ซ๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ฒ and reflected on the faith and virtues represented by the queens and their escorts.
