𝗚𝗢𝗗 𝗚𝗢𝗧𝗖𝗛𝗔! 𝗥𝗲𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Sometimes, rejection can feel like disappointment, but it doesn’t always mean we failed. In life, what we may desperately want may not be part of God’s plan for us. Rejection can be God’s way of protecting us from something we’re not meant for and redirecting us toward a better path.

That is why, when God closes a door, it is important for us to trust Him and hold on to our faith, believing that He has something better planned for us, even when we do not fully understand His reasons. At the end of the day, there is always a silver lining, even in the darkest moments.

With hearts filled with immense joy, gratitude, and excitement, the Parish of St. Jude Thaddeus Parish and Shrine warmly welcome our newly appointed Bishop of the Diocese of Bacolod, Most Rev. Louie P. Galbines, STHD, D.D. 🙏✨

Beginning at 1:00 PM, from the southernmost part of our Diocese, the Vicariate of Hinigran will accompany our new shepherd as he journeys toward the heart of the Diocese of Bacolod.

Then, at exactly 3:30 PM, we joyfully await the arrival of Most Rev. Louie P. Galbines, STHD, D.D. at Good Year (Infront of the Old Airport), where the Vicariate of Alijis stands ready to welcome him with open hearts, joyful spirits, and prayers. 🙌

As the Vicariate Seat, the St. Jude Thaddeus Parish and Shrine, together with the St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic School, proudly joins this historic and meaningful moment of welcome.

Bishop Louie, welcome home! May the Lord bless you with wisdom, strength, courage, and a heart overflowing with love as you begin your ministry as the Seventh Bishop of the Diocese of Bacolod. May Mary, our Mother, accompany you always, and may we, the young people and servants of the Church, continue to walk with you in faith, hope, commitment, and service. ❤️

As we gathered to celebrate the 19th Sunday in Ordinary Time, we were reminded through the theme “When Our Faith Is Shaken” to continue trusting God even in moments of doubt and uncertainty. The Holy Mass was presided over by Very Rev. Fr. Joel E. Roquez, our Vicar Forane, as the community came together in faith and prayer.

10:00 AM Eucharistic Celebration || August 9, 2026

we gathered as one community in the presence of the Lord—bringing with us our prayers, our hopes, our struggles, and our thanksgiving.

In the stillness of the celebration, we are reminded that God meets us wherever we are. He does not promise that every storm will pass immediately, but He promises that we will never have to face it alone.

May the Eucharist strengthen our hearts, renew our faith, and remind us that even in the middle of every storm, we know which hand to hold.

May we continue to walk with Him, trust in His timing, and carry His love beyond the walls of the church.

Laygay ni Pads ✨

There will be moments when the waves are too high, the winds are too strong, and the path ahead seems uncertain. Faith does not promise that we will never face storms. Instead, it reminds us that we never have to face them alone.

Sometimes, God does not calm the storm around us because He is teaching us to find peace within it. When we cannot see what lies ahead, we can still trust the One who sees it all. When our strength begins to fade, we can hold on to His.

Because faith is not the absence of fear—it is choosing to trust despite it.

And when the storm comes, may we remember: we may not always know where the road leads, but we always know whose hand to hold.

Trust the Process, but above all, trust the God who stays with you in the Process.
