Today, we celebrate the memorial of the martyrdom of Saint John the Baptist.

Let us pray:

O God, who willed that Saint John the Baptist should go ahead of your Son both in his birth and in his death, grant that, as he died a Martyr for truth and justice, we, too, may fight hard for the confession of what you teach. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.

ADSUM PASIPLAT

Saint John Nepomuceno Parish has begun organizing its parishioners toward the establishment of a Parish Stewardship Ministry, an initiative aimed at strengthening the parish’s culture of stewardship and generosity.

According to Mrs. Maria Luisa Tan, Parish Pastoral Council President, the ministry seeks to organize and facilitate the parish’s modified tithing program, encouraging parishioners to participate more actively in supporting the pastoral and missionary needs of the parish.

The organizational meeting was held under the leadership of Fr. Louan Torrefranca, Parish Priest of Saint John Nepomuceno Parish. The meeting brought together parishioners who expressed their willingness to become part of the new ministry and contribute to its formation and development.
