WELCOME HOME, BISHOP LOUIE! | Today is indeed a historic moment for the Diocese of Bacolod, as we officially greet our new shepherd a warm welcome back home: Most Rev. Louie P. Galbines, SThD, DD, the 7th Bishop of our diocese.

The welcoming of the bishop will commence later at 1:00 PM from Hinigaran, passing by Negros South Road, and Araneta Street before a welcome procession and liturgical reception from the BCGC Replica to the San Sebastian Cathedral.

The Canonical Possession and Installation of the New Bishop will be at 9:00 AM of Tuesday, August 11, at the San Sebastian Cathedral.

This August, the Ministry of Altar Servers of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage Parish, Airport - Diocese of Bacolod celebrates the Altar Servers' Month in honor of our patron saint, St. Tarcisius.

As we remember his courage and love for the Holy Eucharist, we are inspired to serve with humility, reverence, and devotion. Each moment at the altar is not just duty, but a deep expression of faith.

To all altar servers—thank you for your quiet dedication and for being living witnesses of Christ's love.

ALTAR SERVERS' MONTH | This month of August is dedicated to our saint, St. Tarcisius and the celebration of the Altar Servers' Month. ​We kickoff the celebration with the Dawn Procession, followed by a Votive Mass to our dearly beloved Mother, Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage. Under the loving mantle of Our Lady, we continue to serve at the altar of the Lord with humble and grateful hearts. Let’s make this month meaningful, and may this month be a successful and full of blessing!

PARISH YOUTH DAY 2026 (AFTERNOON SESSION) | Moments from the Afternoon Activities of the annual Parish Youth Day 2026 held last July 4, 2026, in an advanced celebration of the 16th Patronal Feast of St. Maria Goretti, patroness of the Youth.

The afternoon session was full of smiles and solemnity, with fun games for the participants, and ending the day with Solemn Procession and the Mass of the Youth presided by Fr. Michael Ma. Cuenca, MMHC of San Isidro Labrador Quasi-Parish, Cansilayan, Murcia.

PARISH YOUTH DAY 2026 (MORNING SESSION) | Moments from the Morning Activities of the annual Parish Youth Day 2026 held last July 4, 2026 at the Grotto of St. Padre Pio - Diocese of Bacolod, in an advanced celebration of the 16th Patronal Feast of St. Maria Goretti, patroness of the Youth.

The morning session was highlighted by a mini-recollection with Fr. Pelermo "B**g" Suganob from Mary, Help of Christians Quasi-Parish, Hinigaran as resource speaker, reflecting on the theme "Called to Holiness in the Changing World". Participants also enjoyed from the morning mini-games and animation.
