Launching the arrow of opportunity to fight the enemy, sister Julie Ann Desuyo rose up victorious against tiredness and distraction. She took into heart the words that God had delivered during the Sunday service and used them as her weapon to push herself towards God's promise. She was given the opportunity and she held on to it. She never let it slip and because Jesus saw her heart, she was given the greatest gift which is the Holy Ghost.

This Sunday, we were reminded to be careful about what we preach and teach. Our preaching must be faithful, accurate, and firmly grounded in Scripture. We should neither add to nor take away from Godโ€™s Word. 2 Corinthians 11:13 warns us about those who present themselves as servants of God but are actually false workers. That is why we must carefully examine what we hear and compare it with the Bible. Most importantly, Jesus Christ is our chief foundation.

As 1 Corinthians 3:11 says, โ€œFor other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.โ€

Everything we preach and believe should point back to Him.๐Ÿ™Œ

This Sunday left us with powerful words and a question to ponder:

โ€œIf God looked at my life today, would He find me prepared, faithful, and living according to His will?โ€

May we be reminded to walk circumspectly and live wisely, making choices that honor God and staying faithful to what He has entrusted to us. We have received the seal of His promise, so let us not live carelessly.

Walk carefully. Live wisely. Stay ready.

Last Sundayโ€™s service taught us about what God requires of His people. God requires us to bear good fruit and to have good judgment. The fruit we bear determines how close and strong our faith and relationship with Jesus are. If we live by the fruit of the Spirit, the closer our relationship with God becomes. However, if we practice poor judgment and make poor choices, this draws us farther away from Him.

Last Sunday was jampacked with God's powerful words and blessings. Hearing Brother Jewben's preaching about what's in the name of Jesus, gave us all deeper understanding on how extraordinary is the power that Jesus' name holds. Meanwhile, Pastor Joel's teaching about the words "I'm sorry" not bearing any weight in the end times served as a great reminder to everyone that when we truly repent from our sins, we should never look back from our wrongdoings. Instead, we move forward and follow God's will because in the end times, words of apology will no longer be heard and judgment will fall towards those who continued to disobey the word of God.

If hearing those words that are full of Jesus's wisdom isn't blessing enough for everyone, God let us all conclude the day with another victory in His name for us to testify. Our Sunday closed memorably as we all lay as bear witnesses, seeing one soul cleansed in the name of Jesus through water baptism.

Indeed, all the glory and honor belong solely to Jesus!

Last Sundayโ€™s preaching taught us an essential lesson about the price of being inconsistent in serving God. No matter how long youโ€™ve stood firm in your faith in Him but ended up failing to hold on to it towards the end, youโ€™ll definitely face the consequence of it. When serving God, we must remain consistent and our faith should be unchanging. Let us not walk the same path that King Asa took where he faithfully served the Lord for most of his years but disobeyed God towards the end. Because of this he bore the consequence of his doing which is his death.

Consistency is indeed key towards in gaining Godโ€™s favor and in securing our place prepared to us by Jesus in Heaven.

Just because a road feels right doesn't mean itโ€™s leading to the right destination. Proverbs 14:12 reminds us that human wisdom has limits, but God's direction is foolproof. ๐Ÿ’ก

Instead of doing things our own way and hoping for the best, letโ€™s surrender our plans to Him. Letโ€™s listen to His teachings, obey His instructions, and follow the path that actually leads to life.

Our Holy Ghost Sunday and Evangelistic Services indeed have given everyone powerful words to ponder upon. Sister Ronielle highlighted that waiting prepares us physically and spiritually for what lies ahead in the future. While Pastor Joel preached reassuring words to everyone that God doesnโ€™t look back at what youโ€™ve done in the past instead Heโ€™s keeps watch of your doings in the future.

An unbroken family is built on Godโ€™s love and strengthened by faith. When Jesus is at the center of our home, He keeps our hearts united, firm, and unwavering despite lifeโ€™s challenges. Through His Word, we remain connected to Him and to one another. Godโ€™s love gives us direction, purpose, strength, endurance, and hope. It restores broken relationships, covers our shortcomings with grace, and helps us overcome our differences. Just as Noah faithfully led his family to obey God and was saved with them, we are also called to lead our families in faith and love. A family that trusts God, stays together, and continues to love one another will remain strong and unbroken through every season of life.

1 Peter 4:8 ;
โ€œAbove all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.โ€
