We thank God for this great blessing to the FIS Province in the person of Fr. Amelito “Mel” Narciso Racelis, SDB, our new Provincial Superior. For the next six years, from 2025 to 2031, he will take the helm in animating the FIS Salesian Family. Let us accompany him with our prayers and support.

The Rector Major, Fr. Fabio Attard, SDB, appointed Fr. Amelito Narciso Racelis, SDB, as the new Provincial Superior of the Mary Help of Christians Province, Philippines-South, for the year 2025-2031. We thank God for this great blessing & we accompany Fr. Mel with our prayers.

Heavenly Father,
we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and hope as You call forth a new Provincial Superior, Fr. Amelito Narciso Racelis, SDB, to shepherd the Salesian Family of Don Bosco in the Philippines South Province.

Send forth Your Holy Spirit, O Lord, the Spirit of wisdom, courage, and discernment. May He guide our new Provincial Superior with the same zeal and gentleness that burned in the heart of St. John Bosco. Grant him the grace to listen with compassion, to decide with clarity, and to lead with humility and strength.

May his leadership be marked by fidelity to the Gospel, deep love for the young, and unwavering trust in Divine Providence. In times of challenge, be his refuge. In times of joy, be his song. In every moment, be his guiding light.

O Mary Help of Christians, Mother and Guide of the Salesian Family, intercede for him with your maternal care. Cover him with your mantle, strengthen him in trials, and lead him always to your Son, Jesus.

Through your powerful intercession, may this new chapter in our Province’s journey bear abundant fruit for the salvation of souls and the flourishing of Don Bosco’s charism.

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You, Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever. Amen.
