After gathering for a beautiful and solemn Holy Mass, the Flores de Mayo Culmination Program officially got underway! 🌸

It was an unforgettable day filled with talent, recognition, and pure community joy. The stage came alive as we moved from the sacred celebration of the Mass straight into our grand program.

The main highlight of the event was the BEC Vocal Solo Showcase: Kids Edition, where young representatives from various BEC clusters took center stage. The children wowed the audience and judges alike, lifting their voices in songs of praise and showcasing the deep well of talent nurtured within the church.

Following the musical showcase, an Awarding Ceremony followed to give due recognition to the outstanding efforts of the catechists and youth volunteers.

We also extend our gratitude to those who supported this gathering, from the food to school supplies, Dios Mabalos!

We officially wrap up our month-long Flores de Mayo celebration with a heart full of gratitude and joy! It has been a beautiful journey of devotion, and it officially concluded with a massive celebration for the whole community.

May is Mary’s month, a special time to honor and express our love and devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary through prayers, songs, and the offering of flowers. Each flower symbolizes our gratitude for her endless guidance, love, and motherly care in our lives.

The Flores de Maria Culmination was a meaningful celebration of faith and unity, presided over by Fr. Belarmino Rene Obordo and attended by different Kristiyanong Katilingban from Eroreco. The gathering brought communities together in prayer and devotion, reminding everyone of the importance of faith, service, and togetherness as children of God.

As the month of May comes to an end, may the lessons of humility, kindness, and devotion that Mama Mary teaches continue to live in our hearts. May this celebration inspire us to deepen our faith and continue sharing love, hope, and compassion with one another.

Today, as we celebrate Pentecost Sunday under the theme "Peace be with you," we are reminded that the Holy Spirit brings us renewal, transformation, and healing. Even in our darkest times, the Holy Spirit is always there to offer comfort, hope, and light.

Fr. Larmi Obordo beautifully shared in today’s homily: “Allow the Spirit to continue to touch, guide, and come to us even in the midst of darkness.”

Furthermore, BEC (Basic Ecclesial Community) Leaders renewed their commitment in serving the church.

Let us open our hearts and minds to this divine transformation today.
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your people and kindle in them the fire of Your love.

Today, our parish community gathered to celebrate the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord, reflecting on the profound theme, "I am with you always." Though Christ ascended into heaven, He remains ever-present in our lives and in the mission of the Church.

Coinciding with this major feast and the celebration of World Communications Sunday, the Social Communications (SOCCOMM) Ministry formally renewed their commitment to service this morning. As digital missionaries, we pledge to continue utilizing our skills, media platforms, and technology to echo Christ's enduring presence and foster meaningful connections within our community.

May our ministry always serve as a bridge of faith, hope, and truth. 🙏🏿
