THE HOLY TRINITY: ONE GOD, THREE PERSONS

The Bible teaches a clear truth: there is one God, not three. This one God exists eternally as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

They are not three gods.
They are not one person appearing in different forms.
They are one God, perfectly united and working together.

The Father is the source and the planner. He created all things and designed salvation from the beginning. Salvation was intentional, not accidental.

The Son, Jesus Christ, is God revealed in human flesh. He lived without sin, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again. Salvation rests entirely on what Jesus accomplished, not on human effort or religion.

The Holy Spirit is God dwelling within believers today. He enters at the moment of salvation, seals the believer forever, teaches truth, comforts in weakness, and keeps salvation secure.

Salvation works this way:
The Father planned it.
The Son paid for it.
The Spirit applies it.

Through Jesus, we have access to the Father. Through the Spirit, salvation becomes real within us. The Spirit is received, not earned. He does not glorify people or experiences. He always points to Christ.

The Trinity made simple:
One God.
One Father.
One Savior.
One sacrifice.
One head, Christ.
One Spirit.
One eternal seal.
One body in Christ.

Trust what Christ finished.
Rest in what the Spirit sealed.
Worship the Father in truth.

Follow Christ, not confusion.
Walk by grace, not religion.

"Who says being a christian is boring?" (Have you seen these posts lately?)

I used to like this statement before. I even affirmed it by showing the fun, the joy, the laughs, the jamming, and even a worship concert photo. But lately I realize that we are doing more damage than good. We are setting a false expectation and we are sugarcoating christianity with activities that could entice the world to follow Jesus.

The reason why there are more Jesus' fans compared to genuine followers is because the church has become a hotel instead of a hospital. We have made everyone comfortable, entertained, and complacent instead of telling them the plain truth about the real cost of following Jesus.

We must deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Jesus which means taking every Word He has spoken so seriously. Stop sugarcoating christianity. It's not easy to follow Jesus, but it's worth it!

How sweet are Your words to my taste.
Sweeter than honey to my mouth!
(Psalm 119:103)

During the times that the Psalms were written, there was no such thing as refined sugar that we experience today. Honey was the richest and possibility the most pleasurable "sweetness" that people could experience. While there is delight to the senses when enjoying honey, God's Word is even more valuable.

Psalm 19:10 says that Gods Word is "Sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb", and Psalm 119:103 says that His word is "sweet to my taste and sweeter than honey to my mouth"

Honey cannot just be looked at, talked about, and studied. It must be tasted. Just as God's Word must be more than just an intellectual study and analysis...it must be personally experienced and delighted in.

Psalm 34:8 says "Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him!"

And finally, enjoying honey is not a one-time thing. Whoever has tasted honey once, certainly wants to enjoy it again. Over and over. The same is true with God's Word and how we can savor His truth over and over.
