𝑷𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝑷𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆: 𝑺𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝑪𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒔, 𝑶𝒏𝒆 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝑴𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏

The 7 churches under the Vicariate of Camingawan held a Vicariate Team Building and the Election of a New Set of Officers for their council.

The activity was officially opened with a prayer and a talk by their Vicar Forane, Rev. Fr. Chris Gonzales, about the current state of the youth and the problems they are facing in this generation.

Their first speaker was Rev. Fr. Chris Simon Abadilla. Topic:“Preparing Your Faith and Heart for the Journey of Leadership” Key points:
- “Christian leadership is always about having good character” possessing a heart of God.
-“Formed Through Ordinary Human Experiences”
- “Always think about the succession plan.”
- “A Christian leader is oriented to the well-being of other people” servant leadership.

Their second speaker was Mr. Franz Marvin Duhaylungsod. Topic “Safety Briefing: How We Journey Together as Leaders” Highlights from his talk:
- “True Christian leadership flips the pyramid upside down.”
- “Servant leadership isn’t about having the flashiest title or being the head of each program; it’s about living out your personal relationship with Jesus.”
- LEADING WITHOUT BURNOUT
" When leading feels heavy, remember Christus Vivit 150: He wants to be your best friend, not your boss.”

In the afternoon session, they participated in various activities designed to test their leadership and how they handle and face problems as leaders.

Lastly, they elected their new set of council officers:

𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐅𝐈𝐃𝐎

With hearts filled with joy and gratitude, the Diocese of Bacolod warmly welcomed its new shepherd, Most Rev. Louie P. Galbines, D.D., during his Canonical Reception held earlier today.

Gathered in faith and communion, the different vicariates, and Catholic schools of the Diocese came together to welcome and accompany Bishop Louie as he began his pastoral ministry among the People of God in Bacolod.

Guided by his episcopal motto, “Confido” — “I trust,” we entrust this new chapter of our diocesan journey to the loving providence of God. May Bishop Louie’s ministry be marked by unwavering trust in the Lord, steadfast service to His people, and a deep commitment to building a Church that walks together in faith, hope, and charity.

As Bishop Louie begins his pastoral ministry among us, may the Holy Spirit guide and strengthen him as he leads the People of God in the Diocese of Bacolod. May he shepherd us with wisdom, compassion, and steadfast faith, always after the heart of Christ.

𝐊𝐀𝐏𝐀𝐖𝐀: 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬

Yesterday, July 25, 2026, our parish delegates Jaquelin Canoy, Ivan Cordero, and Keith Lumogdang proudly participated in the 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒉 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒍𝒚 held at the Sacred Heart Seminary.

Together with fellow youth leaders from different parishes across the Diocese of Bacolod, they engaged in meaningful discussions, inspiring talks, and collaborative activities that strengthened their commitment to lead with faith, purpose, and service.

More than leadership skills, this experience reminded us that true leadership is about becoming a light for others—guiding, serving, and inspiring with Christ at the center.

As young leaders, padayon kita sa pagserbisyo, pagtuon, kag pagpakita sang kapawa sang Ginoo sa aton tagsa ka komunidad.
