There's a season for fasting and a season for feasting. A season to hold on tight, and a season to let go and celebrate. Luke 5 reminds us that life isn't meant to be lived in one fixed posture forever.

Families grow. Kids change. Marriages deepen. Seasons shift. And sometimes the very thing keeping us stuck isn't a lack of love — it's trying to force a new chapter into an old routine.

Maybe this is the season to let go of an old way of relating, an old wound, an old expectation — and make room for what God is doing now, together.

New wine needs new wineskins. Don't be afraid to grow with your season.

Our Bidang Bayani Para sa Batang Bayani is back for Year 4!

Every child battling cancer is a hero. Behind every brave child is a family facing emotional, physical, and financial challenges. Together, we can bring hope, comfort, and support to these young warriors and their families.

We humbly invite everyone to share this post and help us reach more kind-hearted individuals who may wish to support our cause. Every share can inspire another act of generosity.

"Domestic Church / Family Solidarity"

Freedom Begins at Home
In the synagogue — a place of worship, much like our homes are meant to be — Jesus brought deliverance to someone bound. Our families are called to be "domestic churches": small sanctuaries where healing, prayer, and solidarity happen first, before the world sees it.

Just as the man was freed without harm, our homes should be safe spaces where every member can be seen, heard, and set free from whatever burdens them — no shame, only support. Pray together. Stand together. Free each other.

God's voice from the cloud said, "This is my beloved Son... listen to him." Not "look at him" — listen. In the pursuit of goals, it's easy to chase the visible and forget the voice that matters most — the people at home who need presence, not just a highlight reel.

The mountain is for vision. The valley — home, family, daily faithfulness — is where the vision becomes real.

Today's Gospel reminds every family that even in life's storms — busy days, worries, unexpected waves — He is present. 🌅

Just as Jesus reached out to catch Peter, may every family also reach out to one another: with patience, with grace, and with faith that holds steady when things feel uncertain.

Family isn't about never facing storms — it's about facing them together, eyes fixed on what truly matters.

With grateful hearts, we proudly celebrate our Grade 1 Catechism pupils of Bitalag Integrated School for faithfully accomplishing our mission: “Plant One Tree with Your Parents.” 🌳💚 “Laudato Si” Praise be to you oh Lord! (Pope Francis)

Through this simple yet meaningful act, our young learners have shown that even at an early age, they can become faithful stewards of God’s beautiful creation. Together with their loving parents, they planted not only trees but also the seeds of faith, responsibility, and love for our common home.

Congratulations, our little heroes! You have truly lived the call to care for God’s creation. You are our new Superheroes – “Tagapag-alaga ng mga Nilikha ng Diyos!”

Staying Faithful to Family

"Pumunta ka sa aking mga kapatid at sabihin mo sa kanila..." (Juan 20:17)

Ang unang misyon na ibinigay ng Panginoon matapos ang Muling Pagkabuhay ay hindi para sa madla — ito ay para sa Kanyang pamilya, sa Kanyang mga kapatid.

Gaya ni Maria, tayo rin ay tinatawag munang magpatotoo sa loob ng ating sariling tahanan bago pa man sa labas. Ang katapatan sa pananampalataya ay nagsisimula sa maliliit na bagay — sa pananalangin bilang pamilya, sa pagpapatawad, sa pagsasama-sama tuwing Linggo.

Sa panahong ito, hinihikayat namin ang bawat pamilya: manatiling matapat, manatiling nag-uugnay, at panatilihing buhay ang pananampalataya sa loob ng tahanan.

Kami po ay patuloy na nananalangin para sa bawat pamilyang bahagi ng ating parokya.

"If the home is deserving, let your peace rest on it." — Matthew 10:13

One line from today's reading stayed with me — peace has to start somewhere, and home is usually that somewhere.

Before we pour ourselves out for work, ministry, or other people, let's make sure our own household feels our presence, our patience, and our peace first. A quick call, a real conversation at dinner, a moment of undivided attention — these matter more than we realize.

Take care of your health. Take care of your family. Everything else we build only means something if the people closest to us feel loved along the way. ❤️
