Day 1 of the Parish Youth Camp 2026

With the theme: “Arise and Follow: Responding to God’s Call and Discipleship,” the camp started with a meaningful Eucharistic Celebration precided by Fr. Kenneth C. Amate.

In his homily, he shared the message behind “ARISE”:
• Answering God’s call
• Rise from where you are
• Imitate Christ
• Serve with love
• Encounter Jesus — especially in this youth camp.

A powerful reminder he left us with: “The first duty of love is to listen.”

The day continued with confession, orientation, shared moments, and fellowship, and ended in prayer through Taize prayer and a joyful getting-to-know activity — a beautiful start to a journey of faith, friendship, and discipleship.
