𝗚𝗜𝗢𝗦: 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘀 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵!

Faith grows not only in familiar places but also in the encounters that challenge us to step beyond our comfort zones.

As the day continued, the delegates of Parish Youth Day 2026 embarked on a new experience. Leaving behind the familiarity of their own chapels, they were grouped with fellow youth from different communities for the Track Sessions and Team Building Activities. What initially appeared to be a simple division of participants became an invitation to discover the beauty of unity amid diversity.

Like individual threads woven into a single tapestry, each delegate brought unique experiences, perspectives, and gifts. Strangers became companions, conversations turned into connections, and differences became opportunities for growth. Through the Track Sessions, the youth were given a space to reflect, learn, and engage in meaningful discussions about faith, leadership, service, and Christian living.

The lessons learned did not remain within the four corners of a session. They came alive during the Team Building Activities, where cooperation replaced competition and trust became the bridge that connected one person to another. Every challenge required not only strength and strategy but also patience, communication, and mutual support.

The spirit of GIOS was reflected in every activity. The delegates learned that overcoming is not about standing above others but about walking with others. It is found in choosing unity over division, understanding over judgment, and faith over fear.

As barriers slowly faded and new friendships blossomed, the youth experienced a powerful truth: faith is not meant to be lived alone. It flourishes in community, grows through relationships, and becomes stronger when shared with others.

What began as separate groups from different chapels gradually became one family of faith, journeying together, learning together, and growing together in Christ.

𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗚: 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗚𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗨𝘀!

After a night filled with fellowship, laughter, and celebration through Rayhak, a new day quietly unfolded. As dawn slowly painted the horizon with its first light, the youth gathered once again – not on a stage, but in the simplicity of a new morning gifted by God.

The day began with a lively Zumba session, where tired bodies found renewed energy and weary feet found rhythm once more. What seemed like a simple activity became a reminder that every new day invites us to rise, move forward, and embrace the journey ahead with joy.

As the morning continued, the delegates participated in Aurora, a moment that carried deeper meaning than the breaking of day. Just as the first rays of sunlight pierce through the darkness of the night, Aurora became a symbol of God’s faithfulness, a gentle reminder that no matter how long the night may seem, His light always finds its way through. It spoke of new beginnings, renewed purpose, and the quiet assurance that God continues to guide His people forward.

Gathered in prayer, the youth then offered the day to the Lord through the Morning Prayer. In the stillness of that sacred moment, voices rose as one, carrying thanksgiving for the blessings received, strength for the journey ahead, and trust in the God who never abandons His people.

SARIG found its meaning not only in words but in experience. Trust is not merely believing when the path is clear; it is choosing to walk even when the road ahead remains unseen. Like the dawn that arrives before the fullness of day, faith calls us to move forward with confidence, knowing that God is already present in every step we take.

As the morning unfolded, the youth were reminded that courage grows where trust is planted, and hope flourishes where hearts remain anchored in Christ.

𝗥𝗔𝗬𝗛𝗔𝗞: 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀!

As dusk settled and the sky slowly surrendered to the night, the youth gathered for the celebration of the Eucharistic Holy Mass, presided over by Rev. Fr. Arnold A. Aurelio. Before the songs, performances, and festivities, they first gathered around the altar, the heart of every Christian journey. There, they offered not only their prayers but also their hopes, struggles, and dreams, entrusting them to the One who has overcome the world.

From the sacred silence of the Eucharist emerged a procession of light. Carrying torches in their hands, the delegates journeyed through the communities of Malibago and San Isidro. The flames that illuminated the roads seemed to echo a deeper truth: that faith, when shared, shines brighter. Like small lights scattered across the darkness, the youth became reminders that hope continues to burn in a world often overshadowed by uncertainty.

The evening then unfolded into Rayhak, a gathering that brought together the different barangays in a celebration of talent, creativity, and community. One by one, each delegation stepped forward to share their presentations – not merely as performances, but as expressions of identity, faith, and unity. Every movement, every melody, and every story presented reflected the unique gifts entrusted to them and the spirit of collaboration that made each presentation possible.

Beyond the stage and applause, Rayhak became a space where barriers disappeared and friendships flourished. It was a night where laughter echoed freely, conversations grew deeper, and young people discovered that they belonged to something greater than themselves – a community bound together by faith and a common desire to follow Christ.

Like a campfire that gathers people around its warmth, Rayhak drew the youth closer to one another. The night became a reminder that faith is not lived alone. It is strengthened in community, nurtured through fellowship, and made visible in the joy of gathering as one family.

As the evening came to a close, the torches may have dimmed, but the light they symbolized continued to burn within the hearts of those present, a light of courage, friendship, and hope that they would carry long after the night had ended.

𝗗𝗔𝗦𝗜𝗚: 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁’𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲!

Every meaningful journey begins with a step of faith.

As delegates from the different chapels gathered for Parish Youth Day 2026, what started as a simple arrival became the beginning of a shared pilgrimage – a journey of faith, friendship, and encounter. Like scattered embers drawn together into one flame, young hearts came carrying different stories, struggles, and aspirations, yet united by one purpose: to seek Christ and find courage in His presence.

One of the highlights of the day was the plenary session, “DASIG: Finding Courage in Christ’s Presence,” delivered by our guest speaker, Ms. Eddylaine Marrie Pineda. Through her inspiring testimony and heartfelt reflections, she reminded the youth that courage is not the absence of fear but the decision to trust God even when the path ahead is uncertain. For it is often in our weakest moments that Christ reveals His strength, and in our darkest nights that His light shines brightest.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay Officials of San Isidro, especially Hon. Reydel A. Buena, for their generosity, support, and hospitality throughout this gathering. Your willingness to open your community to our young people helped create a safe and welcoming environment where faith and fellowship could flourish.

As the first day unfolded, strangers became companions, conversations became connections, and moments became memories. More importantly, hearts were reminded that amidst the noise of the world, there is a Savior who continually whispers, “Take courage.”

And so the journey began, not merely as participants of an event, but as young disciples learning to trust, to hope, and to walk courageously with Christ.

San Jose de Malibago Parish – Commission on Youth for Brigada Eskwela 2026!

The San Jose de Malibago Parish – Commission on Youth proudly participated in Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Malibago National High School and Malibago Elementary School, answering the call of service through the spirit of bayanihan. As members of the community, we recognize that education is not only the responsibility of schools but also a shared mission of every individual who dreams of a better future for the youth.

With willing hands and hearts dedicated to service, our youth volunteers joined teachers, parents, stakeholders, and fellow community members in preparing the schools for the opening of classes. Through simple acts of cooperation and volunteerism, we contribute to creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment where learners can grow in knowledge, values, and character.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the administrators, faculty, and staff of Malibago National High School and Malibago Elementary School for allowing us to be part of this meaningful endeavor. May the spirit of bayanihan continue to flourish in our community, reminding us that when we work together for the welfare of our children, we are also building stronger foundations for tomorrow.
