Historical Background

A financial crisis gracefully answered by Holy Mother Mary. This happened on May 05, 2014 when I thought of selling the two-hectare land at San Agustin, Babak Island Garden City of Samal area at a cost that will surely solve our problem, though we plan of constructing a spiritual center of healing and prayer. Together with my husband Paul we prayed fervently for Mama Mary’s intercession. The next morning our ninang, (wedding sponsor) called me up to proceed to Manila immediately for a business transaction. Right at her residence, to my surprise, there I saw all the images in my dream: lamp shade a woman figurine with a cistern on her shoulder, vase with beautiful flowers.

With no hesitations, our ninang closed the deal but all the more to my surprise she’d want me to keep the land and proceed to what I intended it to be. I cried with so much joy for Mama Mary solved my problem for she’d want me to keep the place for Her Son Jesus to be venerated there.

If you are interested and feel the presence of Mary, and experience spiritual rest and healing, come to this place, a place far from the hassle bustle of city life. If you start from Davao city on public rides, take a Samal Island Bus, stop right where tricycles are. Or take a jeep bound for Sasa 11, then take a boat to Babak, then take a tricycle, turn to the right following the trails with the tarpaulin pictures of the image of Mary, Mediatrix of All Grace which bring you to the grotto area approximately 200 meters away from the main highway. Same route to follow if you are in a private car.
