The Knights of the Altar Ministry of St. Teresa of Avila Parish & Shrine is currently preparing for the Acolytesโ€™ Summer Camp 2026: โ€œCalled to Serve with Joyโ€ this April 30 โ€“ May 2, 2026.

In line with this, official solicitation letters are now being distributed within our parish. These letters are duly signed by Ma. Carla P. Cadag, Vice-President of the Knights of the Altar, and approved by our Parish Priest.

We humbly ask for your support through:

1st Parish Acolytesโ€™ Summer Camp 2026
with Our Lady of Lourdes Parish โ€“ Caranday

A faith-filled formation journey for our Acolytes as they grow in prayer, service, and brotherhood within the Church.

In support of this parish-wide initiative, solicitation letters will be distributed within our parish to help gather financial assistance and in-kind donations for the success of the Summer Camp. Last April 3, in the afternoon, we pause in the stillness of Good Friday. Itโ€™s a day that feels heavy with the weight of sacrifice, yet itโ€™s the very foundation of our hope. We reflect on the ultimate act of loveโ€”where grace met suffering, and a Savior chose the cross for us.

In the quiet of this day, we are reminded that even in the darkest moments, there is a divine purpose at work. Itโ€™s called "Good" not because of the pain, but because of the redemption that followed.
