Today, we gather not only to mourn the passing of our beloved Bishop Elvinia, but also to celebrate the grace of God that was evident in his life and ministry. Though our hearts grieve for a season, we sorrow not as those who have no hope, for we rest in the assurance that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8).

Thank you, Bishop Elvinia, for faithfully standing for the gospel of the grace of God. Until we meet again, we cherish the memories, the fellowship, and the truths of grace you shared with us. Your labor in the Lord is not in vain, and your testimony will continue to encourage many to walk in the truth. Though your voice is now silent among us, the gospel of the grace of God that you faithfully proclaimed continues to speak through the lives you touched.
