Tomorrow, we joyfully welcome the Relic of St. John of the Cross to St. Isidore the Farmer Parish! Let us prepare our hearts for this grace-filled visitation through prayer, reflection, and devotion!

In today’s Gospel, Jesus reminds us that following Him means being willing to take up our cross and walk with Him. Christianity does not promise a life without problems, but it promises something greater: we never carry our cross alone.

In his homily, Rev. Fr. Ireneo A. Ruiz, reminded us that even in our tears, sacrifices, and struggles, God remains with us. Like St. Monica, who brought her tears and prayers before the Lord, we can trust that our tears before God are never wasted. Jesus sees our burdens, understands our pain, and helps us carry the cross He has entrusted to us.

Taking up our cross does not mean hating ourselves or giving up. It means learning to say, “May Your will be done,” choosing love even when it requires sacrifice, and continuing to follow Christ even when the journey becomes difficult.

When life becomes heavy, instead of asking “Why me?”, may we learn to pray, “Lord, this is my cross. Please walk with me.” Because a cross without Christ is meaningless, but a cross carried with Christ becomes a journey toward hope, love, and resurrection💖

Our parish family is reaching out to Ate Ritchel Angel, our PYCC Service Committee Head, and her family, whose home was recently affected by a devastating fire.

As one of our youth leaders who has faithfully served our Parish Youth Ministry, this is now an opportunity for us to extend the same spirit of service and care to her and her family. We invite everyone to come together and offer whatever help we can as they begin rebuilding their lives.

We are accepting donations of the following:
- Rice
- Canned goods and non-perishable food items
- Bottled water
- Clean used clothes
- Toiletries
- Blankets and other basic necessities
- Cash donations are also welcome (any amount will do)

No act of kindness is too small. Your generosity can bring comfort, hope, and a fresh beginning to Ate Ritchel and her family. Let us come together as one parish, one family, and one ministry!❤️‍🩹
