Many people may appear happy, successful, confident, or independent before receiving Christ. Yet the truth is, they are spiritually powerless apart from Him. Outward success cannot replace the inner strength that only comes from abiding in Christ.

The Bible says that without Christ:โ
-We are separated from God. (Isaiah 59:2)โ
-We are enslaved to sin. (Romans 3:23)โ
-We are unable to save ourselves. (Ephesians 2:8-9)โ
-We are without true peace. (Isaiah 57:20-21)โ
The true strength begins when we admit we need God. The world teaches self-reliance, but Scripture teaches surrender. A branch cannot bear fruit apart from the vine; likewise, we cannot live in fullness apart from Christ. When we abide in Him, His Spirit empowers us to overcome sin, we experience peace, and we live with purpose.
Real strength is not found in independence from God, but in dependence on Him.
