CYF MAGATOS CELEBRATING NATIONAL YOUTH WEEK CELEBRATION 2026 πŸŽ‰

A day of faith, fellowship, service, and celebration! Today, we celebrate not only the youth, but also God’s faithfulness that continues to guide and strengthen us as we serve Him.

This celebration would not have been possible without the people who stood with us from day one. Gikan jud ni tanan kang God, who gave us strength, wisdom, and the courage to continue despite the challenges.

Our heartfelt gratitude to our Pastor Nonoy, for continuously supporting us, guiding us, and imparting meaningful lessons to our youth; to our Chairperson, for the constant support; to the BOCE, for extending your time and effort, especially in preparing and cooking the food; to the parents who supported their children; and to everyone who shared their time, resources, talents, and effort to make this activity possible.

And most especially, thank you to all our sponsors and generous hearts who believed in this activity and helped us achieve it. Your support means so much to us, and we truly appreciate every contribution, big or small.

To our fellow CYFers, thank you for showing up, participating, serving, and making this celebration memorable. This is what happens when we come together with one purposeβ€”to serve, grow, and celebrate God together.

And that’s a wrap for Day 1! πŸ™Œ

We kicked off our camp with meaningful fellowship, reflections, and a deeper look at what it means to lead and serve like Jesus.

The day's retreat and reflections were headed by Rev. Angelico F. Cofreros Jr., Retreat Master and Minister of UCCP Magatos Church, who guided us in understanding Christ-centered leadership and service.

Through Mark 10:42–43, we were reminded that true leadership is not about being served, but about serving others. And in Luke 4:18–19, we reflected on Christ’s mission to bring good news, freedom, healing, liberation, and hopeβ€”a mission we are also called to live out as young Christians. πŸ”₯

As CYF youth, may we keep choosing to lead with humility, serve with love, and grow together in faith, united in Christ.
