Title: SUBSTITUTIONARY DEATH

Text: 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
For I delivered to you as first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.

Insight:
Jesus died in your place. He bore the punishment that was rightfully yours and paid the price that you can never pay. Imagine standing before a judge, guilty of crimes you cannot undo. The sentence is death, and the law is clear that justice must be served. Then, someone innocent steps in and takes your place, receiving the penalty you deserved. This is exactly what Jesus did for you. On the cross, He carried the weight of your sin, the shame, and the punishment. Your sins, everything you’ve done wrong, every mistake, every failure, were laid on Him. He took your punishment, carried your shame, and bore the weight of God’s judgment so that you could be forgiven.

Challenge:
How does Christ’s sacrifice affect the way you respond to trials, temptations, and spiritual battles today?

Title: THE PENALTY OF SIN

Text: 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

Insight:

Challenge:
His death satisfies the justice of God while offering mercy to the guilty. Sin is serious, are you taking it seriously?

Title: THE GOSPEL

Text: 1 Corinthians 15:3-4
For I delivered to you as first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.

Insight:
The word gospel means “good news.” But it is more than just a message, it is the most important truth of all time. It is the reason we have hope, joy, and life that never ends. The gospel is simple, yet profound: Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day. This is not a story about ideas or philosophies; it is about Jesus and what He accomplished for us on the cross. Before Christ, we were separated from God because of sin. We were powerless to save ourselves. But through His death, Jesus paid the penalty we deserved. Through His burial, He confirmed that His sacrifice was complete. And through His resurrection, He defeated death, giving us hope for eternal life.

Challenge:
Have you truly accepted and believed the gospel as good news for your own life, or have you only heard it as a message?

“Then Jesus told his disciples, ‘If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.’”
— Matthew 16:24 (ESV)

Title: GRACIOUS LOVE

Text: John 3:16

Insight:
Grace is God giving us what we do not deserve. We deserved judgment, yet God offers us eternal life.We deserved separation, yet God invites us into His presence forever. When Jesus died on the cross, He paid the full price of our salvation. There is nothing left for you to earn, nothing left for you to perform, nothing left for you to prove. God’s gracious love declares, “Come. Believe. Receive eternal life.”Heaven is not a reward for the righteous, it is a gift for the forgiven. It is not achieved, it is received. It is not bought by good works, it is granted by grace. God’s gracious love assures you of this unshakable truth: If you have Christ, you have eternal life. Everlasting life that is secured by the grace of God, sustained by the love of God, and guaranteed by the promise of God.

Challenge:
Who in your life needs to hear about this gracious love that God freely offers to anyone who believes?
