Yesterdayโ€™s Pentecost Sunday celebration became a meaningful gathering of faith, worship, and renewal as the faithful first attended the 8:00 AM Holy Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Christopher Amores together with Rev. Fr. Januario Kipling Agravante IV and Rev.Fr.Sandy Tapic.

After the Holy Mass, the faithful gathered at the Argao Training Center for a spirit-filled program filled with praise and worship, testimonies, talks, healing sessions, and fellowship.

The gathering was blessed through the presence and service of Rev. Fr. Christopher Amores, Brother Dodong Villarta, Brother Ulie Gelnazo, Sister Grace Galang, Brother Reymond, and the different ministries and volunteers who wholeheartedly offered their time and service for the success of the event.

Indeed, Pentecost Sunday reminded everyone that the Holy Spirit continues to move among His people renewing hearts, strengthening faith, and calling each one to live a life centered on God.

๐๐„๐๐“๐„๐‚๐Ž๐’๐“ ๐’๐”๐๐ƒ๐€๐˜ | Today, we joyfully celebrate Pentecost Sunday, the fiftieth day after the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, commemorating the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and the birth of the Church. As one community of faith gathered in prayer and thanksgiving, may we continually open our hearts to the guidance, wisdom, and strength of the Holy Spirit in our daily lives.

The 8:00 AM Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Christopher Amores, together with Rev. Fr. Januario Kipling Agravante IV and Rev. Fr. Sandy Tapic.

In his homily, Rev. Fr. Christopher Amores reminded the faithful to remain steadfast and courageous in fulfilling our Christian mission. He emphasized the importance of constantly praying for the gift of the Holy Spirit โ€” the source of life, strength, and inspiration in our faith journey. Through listening, guiding, and walking with one another, we become instruments of hope and witness the true beauty of being one Church united in Christ.

โ€œCome, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your faithful and kindle in them the fire of Your love.โ€

May the Holy Spirit continue to renew our hearts, strengthen our faith, and guide us as one community, united in love and filled with hope.

Thy devotion, oh Blessed Mother,
Is what we always ought to remember,
In this whole month as we give honor,
To the purest love there is of the God-bearer.

In this spirit of love, the halls of our parish were once again filled with resounding adoration for the Blessed Mother as we continue to celebrate the Flores de Mayo in its third week. Vibrant and colorful flowers decked the altar, adorable and endearing little angels flocked to the aisle, and songs and prayers were lifted as a collective tribute of our faith.

May our hearts always bloom with love for our Blessed Mother, and may we carry the fragrance of our offerings into the weeks ahead.

As we celebrate the 292nd Foundation Anniversary of our beloved parish, here are some glimpses of todayโ€™s meaningful celebration. The day began with the 8:00 AM Holy Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Januario Kipling Agravante and concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Christopher Amores, Rev. Fr. Sandy Tapic, Rev. Fr. Cris Kintanar, and Rev. Fr. Jestoni Del Castillo.

One of the most meaningful moments of the celebration as we also celebrate World Communications Sunday today was the installation of the seven new SocComM members, who courageously answered Godโ€™s call to serve the Church through their talents and ministry. This was followed by the unveiling of the new Parish Logo, symbolizing the parishโ€™s identity, mission, and continuing journey of faith through the years.

Another special highlight was the Blessing and Opening of the Listening Room โ€” a safe space where everyone is welcome to feel seen, heard, and accompanied with compassion and understanding.

This yearโ€™s celebration became a beautiful reminder of Godโ€™s unfailing grace, guiding our parish for 292 years and continuing to strengthen our community in faith, service, and love.

With hearts full of gratitude, we thank everyone who joined us for the Blessing and Opening of our Listening Room. This special moment marked not only the opening of a new space in our parish, but also the beginning of a deeper mission to become a more welcoming, compassionate, and listening Church for all.

The Listening Room now stands as a safe and sacred place where parishioners, churchgoers, and devotees may feel seen, heard, and accompanied in their struggles, worries, and stories. May this ministry become a source of comfort, healing, peace, and hope for all who enter, especially those carrying silent burdens in their hearts. As we continue to live out our theme, โ€œListening Church: Hearing Godโ€™s Voice and the Cries of His People,โ€ may we always be reminded that every voice matters and every person is deeply valued in the love of God.
