To our beloved parishioners, here is the schedule and route of the Apostles' visit and blessing in our respective houses.

As we opened the door of our houses to the Apostles, we also open our hearts to Christ, who offered his life for our salvation.

1st SUNDAY OF LENT | February 22, 2025

The First Sunday of Lent begins with the the scene of the temptation of Christ, the opening of the public life of Jesus. The temptation declares in the Gospels in a very forceful manner the great change in our lives that He introduces into the world by His work of redemption. Where Adam fell, Christ, the new Head of humanity, triumphs over the power of Satan: at the time of His passion "the prince of this world" will be cast out. The Gospel of the temptation heralds Christ's victory in advance.

Prayer: Grant, almighty God, through the yearly observances of holy Lent, that we may grow in understanding of the riches hidden in Christ and by worthy conduct pursue their effects. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever.

𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬 | In the solemn night of February 25, 2026, the faithful gathered once more for the 7th Novena Mass in honor of Nuestra Señora dela Consolacion, embracing the theme: “Listening to Reconciliation- Mary, Peacemaker among people."

In his homily, Rev. Fr. Sandy Tapic reminded everyone that "Ang kaluwasan dili alang sa pipila lamang kondili alang kini sa tanan.” Salvation is not for a chosen few, but for all. Through the loving intercession of the Our Lady of Consolation, we are given the strength and courage to resist temptation, for the grace that flowed to Mary is grace meant for everyone. Truly, our God is a God of second chance.

May this night of prayer renew our hearts, heal broken relationships, and lead us toward reconciliation with one another and with God.

In a world that constantly tells us we are not enough, this Lenten season invites us to pause, reflect, and listen to the truth that comes from God.

The Parish Youth Coordinating Council – Commission on Youth of the Archdiocesan Shrine of San Miguel Arcangel invites all parish youth to a 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗻𝗲’𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗪𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵, a meaningful Youth Lenten Recollection centered on healing, reflection, and rediscovering our value in God’s eyes.

With the theme:
“𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝘼𝙧𝙚 𝙀𝙣𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝: 𝘽𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙁𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙎𝙚𝙡𝙛-𝘿𝙤𝙪𝙗𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀𝙢𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙅𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙖𝙡𝙫𝙖𝙧𝙮,” this gathering offers a safe space for prayer, sharing, and growth, culminating in a solemn 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝘇é 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿.

𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬 | In a spirit of prayer and reflection, the faithful gathered to celebrate the 5th Novena Mass, embracing the vital role of the youth in the Church and in society.

In his homily, Rev. Fr. Jestoni Del Castillo reminded everyone that listening to the young means guiding them with patience, understanding, and faith.

Anchored on the theme, “Listening to the Young – Mary, Guide for the Next Generation,” the message called us to follow Mary’s example, listening with an open heart and leading the next generation closer to Christ with love and hope.

May we journey in faith each day, with Mary guiding us along the way.

𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬 | United in prayer and devotion, the faithful gathered for the 4th Novena Mass on February 22, 2026, presided over by Msgr. Elias Matarlo.

The reflection reminded us that temptation may lead us to sin, and each day we are called to be strong in faith and firm in our choices.

In the midst of struggles and weaknesses, we are invited to seek God’s guidance and trust in His word. The Mass became a gentle reminder for us to change for the better, to open our hearts to Him and let go of the temptations that draw us away from His love.

As part of the Church’s Lenten celebration, this Novena Mass became more than a gathering, it became a moment of renewal, prayer, and hope, strengthening our faith as one community walking closer with God.

As the Archdiocese of Cebu concluded its Vocation Week last February 8, 2026, the seminarianas assigned to our parish shared an inspiring vocation talk with the Ministry of Altar Servers—guiding them through the different vocations in life and encouraging them to listen closely to God’s call.

𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬 | February 19, 2025

The celebration began with the solemn enthronement, led by Rev. Fr. Januario Kipling Agravante IV, as the community gathered in prayerful silence and deep devotion. The atmosphere was filled with grace, love, faith, and reverence, drawing everyone into a moment of unity and reflection.

Throughout the Mass, the solemn and prayerful spirit remained, gently reminding the faithful of the comfort, hope, and loving presence of Nuestra Señora de la Consolación. It was a meaningful celebration of faith, marked by quiet devotion and a shared spirit of love that bound the community together.
