VICARIATE OF PILLAR: CATECHIST FORMATION SEMINAR (PHASE 4)

We are overjoyed to share the success of the Catechist Basic Formation Seminar (Phase 4) for the parishes of the Vicariate of Pillar. Sto. Tomas de Villanueva Parish in Talaga, Argao was incredibly proud and honored to serve as the host parish for this spirit-filled gathering.

This milestone wouldn't have been possible without the dedication, hard work, and prayers of so many people. Daghang salamat kaayo to everyone nga nagpaluyo ug naghago to make this event seamless and meaningful.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Rev. Fr. Milton Medida for his unwavering spiritual guidance, and to our Catechist Coordinator, Sis. Myrna Carilimdiliman, for her exceptional leadership. We also commend all the Catechists of Talaga for their hard work and outstanding hospitality, as well as our esteemed guests and guest speakers for sharing their wisdom to equip our catechists for the mission ahead.

May the Holy Spirit continue to ignite the fire of faith in all our catechists as they go forth to teach and evangelize. To God be the highest glory! 🙌❤️

A special anniversary program will follow immediately after the Mass as we commemorate more than a century of God's blessings, guidance, and faithfulness to our parish community.

SANTACRUZAN SA TALAGA | Faith, culture, and deep devotion came alive at the Sto. Tomas de Villanueva Parish during Santacruzan sa Tagala 2026. This beautiful tradition honors St. Helena’s discovery of the Holy Cross and pays tribute to the Blessed Virgin Mary, whose life continues to inspire generations of believers.

Under the spiritual guidance of Rev. Fr. Milton Medida, the procession moved beyond mere elegance. Every queen and es**rt embodied the core virtues of humility, grace, and Christian service, transforming the event into a powerful reminder of our shared call to follow Christ.
