"GRACE🫶"
Romans 5:8
"But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners."

Naexperience mo na bang mabigyan ng gift pero walang kapalit? Yung hindi mo naman hiningi, hindi mo pinaghirapan, pero ibinigay pa rin sa'yo ng buong-buo?
Ganyan ang grace ni Lord.

Makasalanan pero niligtas?
That's grace.
Minahal kahit 'di deserve?
That's grace.
Paulit-ulit nagkamali pero pinatawad pa rin?
That's grace.

Ang grace ay hindi reward sa pagiging mabait. Ito'y regalo ng Diyos sa mga taong alam nilang kailangan nila Siya.
Ang grace ay hindi reward sa pagiging mabait. Ito'y regalo ng Diyos sa mga taong alam nilang kailangan Siya.
Hindi mo kailangang maging perfect para mahalin ka Niya. Kasi sa totoo lang, kahit kailan, hindi mo kayang bayaran ang pag-ibig Niya — pero ibinigay pa rin Niya.

"DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEART"

Hebrews 3:15
“As has just been said: ‘Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion.’”

While I was attending a service kanina, may isang phrase na tumatak sa akin–DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEART. It may sound simple, pero sobrang lalim pala ng meaning. God speaks to us in many ways — through preaching, worship, social media pero minsan, pinapairal natin ang callous heart.

There are times na gustong-gusto tayong kausapin ni Lord. Pero minsan sarado ang puso natin. Bakit? Dahil sa hatred, bitterness, pride. Kaya kahit nagsasalita na si Lord, hindi natin Siya marinig. God uses different ways to reach us, pero kung hardened ang puso natin, hindi tayo makikinig.

Don’t let pain or pride harden your heart. God is speaking — through many ways — but He needs your heart to stay soft and open. Do not harden your heart. Let Him in.

"I WILL GIVE YOU REST"
Matthew 11:28
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Are you tired lately? Tired of school, academic deadlines, family problems, or even your own thoughts? Yung kahit tapos na ang requirements, may kasunod na naman. It never ends.

Sabi ni Jesus, “Come to me.” Hindi Niya sinabi na, “Lumapit ka lang pag okay ka na.”
Ang sabi Niya, kung pagod ka at mabigat ang dinadala mo–lumapit ka.
Coming to Him is not a sign of weakness. It’s a sign of surrender.

Hindi mo kailangang kayanin lahat. Hindi mo kailangang maging strong palagi.
Kapag sobrang bigat na ng acads, ng life, at ng puso mo, lumapit ka kay Jesus.
Siya ang pahinga na hindi kayang ibigay ng tulog o social media. Siya ang peace na hinahanap mo.
It’s okay to feel tired.
It’s okay to not have it all together.
But don’t carry it all alone.

"DO NOT WORRY ABOUT TOMORROW"

Matthew 6:34
"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

Have you ever felt worried about the future?
Minsan iniisip natin kung anong mangyayari bukas.
May pera pa ba? Papasa ba? Okay pa ba ang lahat?

But here’s the beautiful thing about this verse:
It teaches us to trust–not to ignore the future,
but to surrender it to God.
Hindi mo kailangang malaman ang lahat ng mangyayari.
Ang mahalaga, kasama mo si Lord sa bawat araw.

Breathe. Trust. Take it one day at a time.
God is already in your tomorrow.

"DELIGHT YOURSELF IN THE LORD"

Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.
–Psalms 37:4

“Delight yourself in the Lord” doesn’t just mean pagiging active sa church or doing Christian things.
It means finding real joy and satisfaction kay Lord mismo. Sa presence niya, sa love niya, sa will niya.

Delighting yourself in the Lord means having an intimate relationship with Him,
so your heart aligns with His, and He will give you your desires.
Hindi siya genie. He’s a Father.
And when you truly delight in Him, your wants change into what He wants for you. And that’s the best kind of blessing

ACHIEVING CONTENTMENT ❤️‍🔥

I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. —Philippians 4:12

Christians often talk about contentment, but no one seems to know exactly how to live it. Often, this is because most people don’t know what real contentment means. Does it mean never trying to better our lives? Does it mean accepting abuse or other untenable circumstances? Does it mean never having or expressing an opinion?

The answer to all these questions should be “no.” Jesus wants His followers to be kind, gentle and patient, yet He never meant we should be doormats. If there are ways to escape abuse or other dangerous situations, take them. If you have the opportunity to further your education, get a better job through moving or have another child, you’re free to take that, too. Reaching out for more or better doesn’t mean you lack contentment.

Real discontent comes from finding negative aspects of every situation no matter how good it is. It comes from putting people down instead of building them up, and focusing so much on bettering yourself or your situation that you lose sight of what God has for you right now. True discontent is rooted in your attitude, not your desires themselves.

As one pastor said, the tent of discontent isn’t a pleasant place to live, and you’ll know if you’re living there. You’ll catch yourself complaining about everything, being unusually short-tempered or withdrawing from people and activities you love. If these symptoms are severe, a pastor or Christian counselor can help. Here are a few other ways to practice daily contentment:

• Write down at least one thing each day that makes you feel gratitude.

• Give your time and resources to others; it shows you how much you have.

• Do enjoyable activities to increase your positive attitude.

CARING FOR YOUR TEMPLE

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought with a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies. —1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Most Christians think of honoring God as a spiritual pursuit. When asked to name things that honor God, they might bring up going to church, reading their Bibles, participating in charitable activities or avoiding certain sins. However, you can and should honor God with your body as well. It’s true that your body will pass away one day, but in the meantime, God has given it to you to use. He wants you to use it well and keep it healthy.

How do you honor God with your body? Again, most Christians are familiar with some basics such as eating healthy food and exercising. God approves of these, but remember He’s concerned about your whole body—limbs, muscles, heart, brain and more. He wants you to treat each part as well as you can every day. Here are several key ways to honor God with your body.

• Get enough sleep. Sleep refreshes you so you can enjoy God’s world and do what He calls you to do.

• Work hard, but take breaks often . Do all things in moderation.

• Exercise to feel and look heal thy, not to attain someone else’s attractiveness standard.

• Eat healthy. Indulge in treats occasionally, but do not rely on them for sustenance.

• Keep yourself sexually pure. Wait for marriage if you are single. If you have already been active, make a new purity commitment with your partner.

• Fill your mind with the things God approves of. Avoid entertainment that revolves around sinful behavior.

• When you do get sick, follow doctors’ orders. Let medicine take care of you❤️‍🔥
