“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5

Life often puts us in situations where we don’t understand what is happening. We pray, we try our best, and still the answers seem unclear. In these moments, God invites us to trust—not partially, not temporarily, but with all our heart.

Trusting God means believing that He sees beyond what we see. He knows our past, He understands our present, and He has already prepared our future. When we lean on our own understanding, we limit ourselves to what our eyes can see. But when we lean on God, we open ourselves to His divine plan—a plan full of hope, mercy, and purpose.

Sometimes God delays, not because He forgot us, but because He is preparing something better. Sometimes He says “no” to protect us. And sometimes He is simply building our character so we can receive the blessing when the right time comes.

Reflection:

Am I trusting God with my whole heart, or only when things make sense?

Are there areas of my life I still try to control instead of surrendering to Him?
