Friends, brothers, and sisters in Christ, we are pleased to invite you to join our Holy Week Celebration this year. As we remember the suffering and sacrifices of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we are also reminded of God's unfailing grace and forgiveness towards us.
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8
As we walk towards the journey Christ has tread, we will remember how He showed his lavish love for us.
In this Holy Thursday, we will be washing others' feet as a sign of our humility and our desire to follow Jesus steps as a way of serving. This not only signifies an outward act of humility but a deeper sense of willingness to serve others in the best way we can. We remember the Last Supper, when Jesus shared bread and wine with His disciples, teaching the true essence of love, humility, and service (Matthew 26:26-27). May this sacred day inspire reflection on our actions and relationships, encouraging compassion, sacrifice, and unity in service to others and our community. Let this day deepen our faith, strengthen our fellowship, and guide us in the spirit of servant leadership.
As we journey on Good Friday, we will hear the 7 Last words of love, assurance, forgiveness, and total surrender. We will hear the voices echoing as Jesus takes the final victory on the Cross defeating the power of death and sin.
Easter is a new start for all of us who journey together in grace as the Body of Christ, for it is the good news that binds us together and empowers us to continue on the path set before us. When we embrace the new start, we taste life differently. We experience joy differently because Easter has come, and we live in that new reality. So, join us at the starting line. The journey of living begins again with joy and hope.
Have a blessed Holy Week! God bless our journey!
