PAROKIA SAN TELMO CELEBRATES THE NATIVITY OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY | September 8, 2026

With hearts filled with joy and devotion, Parokia San Telmo joyfully celebrated the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary through a Holy Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Robert Ramos.

Following the Holy Mass, the faithful gathered for a solemn procession and floral offering in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary, initiated by the Legion of Mary and its participating Praesidia: Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, Queen of Peace, Mother of Christ – Paddaya, Queen of Angels – St. Paul School of Aparri, and Queen of Families – Cagayan Valley Institute.

The celebration was also joined by the Catholic Women’s League, Marian devotees, and numerous parishioners who came together to honor Mary, the Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ.

As we celebrate Mary's birth, may her humble life of faith, obedience, and love inspire us to draw ever closer to her Son, Jesus. May Mary, our Mother, continue to guide our parish family and lead us always to Christ.

PAKDAAR-PAROKIA:

We joyfully invite everyone to join is as we celebrate the birth of our Blessed Mother, Mary, whose life of faith, humility, and love continues to inspire us to draw closer to God.

Let us come together as one community in prayer and thanksgiving through the Holy Mass at 6:00 AM, followed by the Procession around the Town at 7:00 AM.

May Mary, our loving Mother, continue to guide, protect, and intercede for us and our families. 💙🙏🌹

CATECHISTS: WITNESSES OF FAITH, FORMERS OF HEARTS, BUILDERS OF PEACE | NATIONAL CATECHETICAL MONTH

This September, Parokia San Telmo joyfully celebrates National Catechetical Month, a special time to honor and give thanks to our catechists who generously respond to the call to teach, witness, and share the Catholic faith.

We recognize with gratitude our Volunteer Catechists, Youth catechists, School Catechists, Teacher-Catechists, Barangay Catechists, Catechists from the Missionaries of Charity, and Catechists from Lyceum of Aparri. Your presence and service are a precious gift to our parish and to the Church.

In a time when our children and young people face many challenges—including conflicts, bullying, violence, peer pressure, and confusion about values—the mission of the catechist becomes even more important. Catechesis is not simply about teaching lessons; it is about forming hearts and leading people closer to Jesus Christ.

As catechists, you help our children and young people discover that faith can guide their choices, love can overcome hatred, forgiveness can heal wounds, and peace can be built through Christ. Through your words, patience, example, and faithful presence, you plant seeds that can grow into lives rooted in the Gospel.

As an essential part of the Education Ministry of Parokia San Telmo, our catechists bring the mission of the Church into our schools, barangays, communities, and families. You help create spaces where faith is learned, values are strengthened, relationships are healed, and Christ is made present.

To every catechist who continues to give time despite busy schedules, who teaches even when it is difficult, and who patiently accompanies those entrusted to your care—thank you for your YES to God's call. Your ministry may seem simple, but every child you teach, every heart you inspire, and every life you help bring closer to Christ is part of building a stronger and more peaceful Church and community.

May the Lord bless all our catechists with wisdom, courage, patience, and joy. May you continue to be witnesses of faith, formers of hearts, and builders of peace.

ANNOUNCEMENT | SEASON OF CREATION 2026

The Parokia San Telmo – Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary is set to celebrate Season of Creation 2026 with the theme: “Living Water: Immersion in Living Water”(Ezekiel 47:9, 12), with a series of activities that invite everyone to care for God’s creation, especially our precious water resources.

As we journey through this season, may we be reminded that water is life and caring for creation is everyone’s responsibility. Let us come together in prayer and action as stewards of our common home.

Come and be part of the journey. Let us immerse ourselves in Living Water!
