My God, my God, why have you abondoned me?
-Psalm 22:1

Jesus' words at the cross is quoted from Psalm 22:1. At the midst of his sufferings and persecution, he seeks the Lord's ultimate protection and proclaims his glory over his pain and all those who persecute him.

At trying times, have we also felt and thought of being abondoned? Do we have God in times when we feel like we have nothing?

Join us on Sunday, at 10:00 am at the Mary, Mother of the Church Parish in a Lenten prayer activity, to reflect and to meditate on the wondrous works of God in the midst of the sufferings of his people.

The clearest sign that we truly love God is when we love one another. As Christians, we are called to be loving towards our brothers and sisters in Christ, because our bond is what strengthens our faith. We cannot afford to accommodate any strife or division because the enemy will be quick to take advantage of such.
