MCGI CHARITY CENTER DAVAO DEL NORTE RENDERS OVER 600 FREE SERVICES IN COLLABORATION WITH PARTNER PHYSICIANS

Serving others remains one of the simplest, most powerful ways to share Christโ€™s love.

On July 30, 2026, the MCGI Charity Center in Tagum City, Davao del Norte, held another weekly outreach, welcoming 175 registered patientsโ€”comprising 154 adults and youth aged 14 and above, alongside 21 children aged 13 and below. The center also served 29 repeat patients returning for follow-up care.

Throughout the day, dedicated medical and non-medical volunteers delivered a comprehensive total of 615 free essential services, along with 427 freshly prepared hot meals, bringing the total impact to 1,042 rendered services.

Partner physicians and healthcare professionals provided 80 medical consultations, 30 physical therapy sessions, and 18 diagnostic laboratory tests, including random blood sugar checks and urinalysis. Meanwhile, the optical team conducted 41 eye examinations, distributing 23 pairs of reading glasses alongside Vitamin A supplements and specialized eye drops. In addition, dental care reached dozens of beneficiaries through 35 simple tooth extractions, 17 cleanings, and 12 consultations.

Beyond healthcare, 126 patients received free prescription medications, while 20 individuals were provided with free haircuts. The center also delivered crucial social and legal support, completing 178 social intake assessments, referring 15 individuals to YAKAP and other government assistance programs, and conducting six legal consultations before operations wrapped up at 3:50 PM.

The MCGI Charity Center in Tagum City, located at Acaso Compound, Brgy. Apokon, continues to welcome anyone in need of assistance every Thursday. Registration runs from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.

STANDING STRONG AGAINST THE STORM: MCGI REACHES OUT TO CONCEPCION, TARLAC RESIDENTS THIS HABAGAT, TYPHOON SEASON

Guided by Godโ€™s grace, MCGI Locale of Concepcion, Tarlac continues to support brethren navigating the challenges of typhoon season.

On August 18, 2026, relief packages containing rice, canned goods, noodles, coffee, and condiments were distributed to 31 families. An additional 68 sacks of rice and extra food stocks are prepared for ongoing distribution.

Brethren also made house visits to share words of encouragement and check on each family's well-being. This spirit of brotherly care remains steadfast as efforts continue to reach more families in need.
