Practicing Faith in Good Deeds: Thousands Served at the MCGI Medical Mission in Ilagan City, Isabela
September 26, 2026 โ MCGI brethren in the province of Isabela conducted a medical mission, rendering a total of 2,592 free services to locals. The 172-staffed provincial effort was held at the Capital Arena in Ilagan, ahead of the weekly Thanksgiving of Godโs People, and served as a testament to the MCGI brethrenโs resiliency in faith and good works.
Services include medical and pediatric consultations, dental check-ups and tooth extraction services, and optical consults with free reading glasses, all of which totaled more than 500 recipients. There were also stand-alone capillary blood glucose testing and ECG, as well as physical therapy services and a free barber/haircut. Legal consultations with licensed attorneys and social service assistance were also provided. The coinciding feeding program served 1,500 individuals, and 337 were recipients of free medicine care of the MCGI Pharmacy.
With the help and mercy of God, as Kuya Daniel Razon often recounts, we are a congregation zealous of good works. Our love for brethren and fellow men reflects just how much the love of God abounds within us, holding true to the doctrines of our faith.
Thanks be to God! To God be the Glory!
