LIBERTAD โ€” The 18th Diocesan Youth Day culminated in a solemn Closing Eucharistic Celebration presided over by Most Rev. Marvyn A. Maceda, Bishop of the Diocese of San Jose de Antique.

Joined by priests from the different deaneries, the Bishop led the faithful in thanksgiving for the grace-filled three-day gathering. Hundreds of youth delegates filled the venue, actively participating in the liturgy through songs, prayers, and offerings, marking a meaningful conclusion to the event.

The celebration served as both a culmination and a commissioning, sending the youth forth with renewed faith, strengthened unity, and a deeper commitment to serve.

LIBERTAD โ€” The 18th Diocesan Youth Day concluded with a meaningful closing program highlighted by the symbolic passing of the Jubilee Cross to the next host, the Central Deanery.

Delegates, clergy, and organizers gathered for the final program filled with thanksgiving, reflections, and messages of gratitude for the success of the three-day celebration. Representatives from the hosting Northern Deanery formally handed over the Jubilee Cross to the Central Deanery, signifying the continuation of the mission and responsibility of leading the next Diocesan Youth Day.

The turnover ceremony was marked by solemnity and hope, as the crossโ€”symbol of faith and unityโ€”was received with reverence by the new host deanery. The gesture served as a reminder of the shared journey of the youth as pilgrims of hope, called to carry Christ in their lives and communities.
