โ€œLift up your voiceโ€ฆ do not be afraid!โ€

As young people of the Diocese of San Jose de Antique, we echo the call of our Bishop, Most Rev. Marvyn A. Maceda, D.D., to stand for truth, justice, and hope in the face of corruption and dishonesty in our nation.

We choose to keep hope alive, to act with honesty and love, and to remain united as one young Church.

Together, we will not be afraid to lift our voices for what is true and just.

An impromptu Feeding Program initiative held at Rosa Mystica Chapel, spreading warmth and comfort in every cup and bowl. Serving not only warm sopas paired with cheese pandesal, but also smiles, laughter, and the love of Christ to every child we met.

Because sometimes, the simplest gestures, a hot meal, a kind word, a shared moment, become the biggest blessings.

To give is to serve. To serve is to love.

In another meaningful session of ๐˜’๐˜ข๐˜ฎ๐˜ถ๐˜ด๐˜ต๐˜ข๐˜ฉ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ, we opened the space not only for bonding but also for learning. With the theme โ€œ๐˜ฝ๐™–๐™ฉ๐™–, ๐™ˆ๐™–๐™๐™–๐™ก๐™–๐™œ๐™– ๐™†๐™–โ€, our speaker ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐‡๐š๐ง๐ง๐š๐ก ๐๐ž๐ž ๐“. ๐’๐ข๐›๐ฎ๐ ๐š๐ง, ๐‚๐‡๐‘๐€, ๐‘๐๐Œ, a passionate child rights advocate, walked us through the rights of every child and how we can be more vigilant in identifying abuse in all its forms.

As young people called to serve others (1 Peter 4:10), itโ€™s our duty not only to show up but to speak up, especially for those whose voices are silenced. It was a session rooted in empathy, awareness, and empowerment, reminding us that checking in with one another also means standing up for whatโ€™s right, especially for the most vulnerable. Our โ€œ๐Š๐š๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š ๐ค๐š, ๐๐ข๐ข?โ€ found a deeper meaning today, as we affirmed the dignity and worth of every child in our community.

It was more than just a reunion; it was a moment to pause, reflect, and recognize the journey weโ€™ve taken as a ministry. Anchored in ๐Ÿ ๐๐ž๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐Ÿ’:๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ, we were reminded that our gifts are not for keeping, but for giving.

Through prayer, storytelling, and meaningful sharing, we rediscovered our reasons for saying โ€œyesโ€ to the call of youth ministry. We looked back with gratitude and looked ahead with hope, knowing that each of us, no matter how long weโ€™ve been part of the group, plays a vital role. In reconnecting, we found renewed strength to serve with purpose and joy.

As we look back on our journey to the National Youth Day, our hearts are filled with gratitude for the many people who made it possible. This experience was more than just a trip, it was a spiritual milestone that reminded us of the beauty of community, faith, and service.

To the Parish Pastoral Council and the Finance Council, thank you for believing in us and for the generous support that helped us prepare and participate fully.
