𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲

Our hearts are full, our voices are raised in praise, and our faith is renewed, for this is the day the Lord has made! Easter Sunday is the most sacred and joyful day in the Christian calendar, the moment when the story of salvation reaches its glorious climax: Jesus Christ, who was crucified, has risen from the dead!

The women made their way to the tomb, carrying spices and sorrow, only to be met by an angel’s radiant presence. In that instant, darkness was scattered, death was conquered, and hope was born anew for all humanity. Let us not only rejoice in the resurrection but also live it out in our daily lives and walk as people who know that death has lost its sting and life has won.

The Easter Vigil Mass, celebrated on Holy Saturday, is one of the most sacred and meaningful liturgies in the Catholic Church. It marks the transition from darkness to light, from death to life, as we await and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Through the lighting of the Paschal Candle, the sharing of light, the reading of salvation history, and the renewal of our baptismal promises, we are reminded that even in the darkest moments, hope is never lost. This night calls us to reflect, to believe, and to rejoice in the promise of new life.

“𝟏𝟎 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐀 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞”

As we celebrate the 10th Sacerdotal Anniversary of Fr. Noli, we give thanks for the gift of his unwavering dedication and compassionate leadership in our parish community. His ministry has been a constant source of strength, guiding us closer to Christ through his words, witness, and service. For the youth, he has been a steady support, encouraging our efforts, uplifting our gifts, and believing in the mission entrusted to us.

For a decade, Fr. Noli has faithfully shepherded with humility, joy, and a heart anchored in God’s love. His presence reminds us of the beauty of a life offered fully to the Lord and generously to His people. As we honor this milestone, we pray that God may continue to bless him with wisdom, grace, and many more fruitful years in His priestly ministry.

𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 | Veneration of the Holy Cross

With humility and devotion, the faithful come forward to kiss the Cross—a simple yet profound gesture of love, gratitude, and reverence for Christ who gave His life for us.

In this sacred act, may we offer our hearts to the Lord and remember that through His Holy Cross, the world was redeemed.

𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 | Via Crucis

Walking in faith and sacrifice, the parishioners of St. Peter the Apostle Parish solemnly journey through the Via Crucis from Barangay Magcalon to Sitio Soong. Each step taken reflects not only devotion but a deep remembrance of Christ’s suffering and love.

The Via Crucis, or Way of the Cross, is composed of 14 stations, each representing a significant moment in Jesus’ passion—from His condemnation and the carrying of the cross to His falls along the way, encounters with His Mother, and ultimately His crucifixion and burial. At every station, prayers are offered, allowing the faithful to reflect on sacrifice, forgiveness, and redemption.

Despite the heat and distance, they continue the journey with prayerful hearts, showing strength, discipline, and unwavering devotion.

This sacred tradition is more than a physical journey; it is a spiritual pilgrimage, reminding everyone that through suffering comes hope, and through faith comes renewal.

Good Friday: Procession is a religious walk that takes place on the Friday before Easter. It is meant to be a "living prayer" where people act out or remember the final hours of Jesus' life.

This isn't just to walk from one place to another. It is to participate in the story. By walking the streets, people feel like they are standing by Jesus during his hardest moments, turning a historical story into a personal experience.

We remember how Jesus knelt before His disciples and washed their feet — showing us that true leadership is found in humility, and true love is expressed in service. From the basin to the table, we enter the sacred mystery of the Last Supper, where Jesus gives us His Body and Blood — the ultimate gift of love that remains with us forever. 🍞🍷

After the Mass of the Lord’s Supper, we followed Him in silence to the Altar of Repose, keeping watch and praying with Jesus in His agony.

May we carry the spirit of Christ’s humility in our hearts as we enter the Sacred Triduum.

SPY WEDNESDAY

Tonight, we remember the sorrowful moment when Jesus was betrayed by someone who walked beside Him. Spy Wednesday reminds us of the quiet betrayals and the choices we make in the shadows.

“What are you willing to give me if I deliver Him to you?” - Matthew 26:15

During the Mass and Tenebrae, as the candles dimmed and the church darkened, we were drawn into the suffering of Christ. Yet even in the shadows, His light never fades.
May this day help us reflect on our own hidden struggles—the times we turn away, stay silent, or choose what is easy over what is right.

May the Lord purify our hearts and make us faithful companions on His journey to Calvary.
