PAKIKINIG AY PAGPAPAKITA NG PAG-IBIG

Minsan pumapasok tayo sa pagsamba, pero ang isip natin ay nasa ibang bagay pagod, problema, o antok. Ngunit tandaan natin: ang pakikinig sa pangangaral ay isa ring paraan ng pagpapakita ng pag-ibig.

Kapag nakikinig tayo nang mabuti, ipinapakita natin ang:

❤️ Pag-ibig sa Diyos dahil pinahahalagahan natin ang Kanyang salita.

🙏 Paggalang sa naglilingkod dahil ang pangangaral ay pinaghahandaan ng may panalangin at pag-aaral.

📖 Pag-ibig sa ating sariling kaluluwa dahil ang salita ng Diyos ang gumagabay sa ating buhay.

Kaya sa susunod na tayo ay nasa pagsamba, buksan natin hindi lamang ang ating Biblia kundi pati ang ating puso at isip.

Ang pakikinig ay hindi lamang pag-upo sa upuan ito ay isang gawa ng pag-ibig.

AGAPE (ἀγάπη)

Agape is the love Jesus showed to the world.

It is love that gives even when it is not deserved.
It is love that forgives even when it is rejected.
It is love that sacrifices for the good of others.

Jesus did not love us because we were perfect.

He loved us while we were still sinners. (Romans 5:8)

On the cross, Jesus demonstrated agape
choosing obedience, choosing sacrifice, choosing us.

In today’s world where love is often based on feelings, convenience, or benefit,
agape is different.

Agape says:

“I will love you faithfully.”
“I will choose what is right.”
“I will remain committed.”

This is Christ-like love in action.

Prayer
Our Father in Heaven, thank You for showing us true agape love. Teach us to love like You not based on emotions, but rooted in faithfulness and obedience. Help us to forgive, to sacrifice, and to remain committed even when it is difficult. Shape our hearts to reflect Your love in our homes, relationships, and daily lives. In Your name, Amen.
