Nehemias 8:8-9 ASD
[8] Bumasa sila mula sa Aklat ng Kautusan ng Diyos at ipinaliwanag ang kahulugan nito, upang maunawaan ng mga tao. [9] Habang nakikinig ang mga tao sa sinasabi ng Kautusan ay umiiyak sila. Sinabi sa kanila nina Nehemias na gobernador, Ezra na pari at tagapagturo ng kautusan, at ng mga Levita na nagpapaliwanag sa kanila ng Kautusan, “Ang araw na ito ay banal sa Panginoon na inyong Diyos, kaya huwag kayong umiyak.”

[35] “Kaya maging handa kayo, dahil hindi ninyo alam kung kailan darating ang may-ari ng bahay; maaaring sa hapon o sa hatinggabi, sa madaling-araw o sa umaga. [36] Baka bigla siyang dumating at madatnan kayong natutulog. [37] Kaya ang sinasabi ko sa inyo ay sinasabi ko rin sa lahat: Maging handa kayo!”
