LIFE Champion Assembly 2026

The two-day LIFE Champion Assembly of the Lasallian Institute for the Environment (LIFE) concludes today at La Salle College Antipolo with a Eucharistic Celebration at St. La Salle Chapel.

The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Bryan Padilla, MSHR, bringing together our Lasallian community in prayer, gratitude, and commitment to care for our common home.

From the President’s Council

We have received reports that several members of our community have been severely impacted by the recent floods caused by the heavy Habagat downpour. Additionally, road conditions along C. Lawis Extension have worsened and are currently unsafe for travel.

To support our affected students, faculty, and staff as they recover and clean upβ€”and to ensure the safety of everyone during this challenging timeβ€”LSCA is suspending all classes and work operations tomorrow, Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

Please be reminded that the campus will remain closed on Thursday, August 20, for the Institutional Rest Day following the recent PAASCU Survey Visit, and on Friday, August 21, in observance of Ninoy Aquino Day. Classes and work operations will resume on Monday, August 24, 2026.

For complete details regarding learning modalities and the updated schedule of activities, please refer to Circular CN: 26-057, which will be posted within the week.

Our thoughts and prayers remain with all those affected by the floods. We ask for continued compassion for one another as we pray for everyone’s safety, swift recovery, and better weather in the days ahead.

A Prayer for Peace and Healing πŸ•ŠοΈ

In light of the recent acts of violence affecting our communities, we pause to pray for our students, educators, families, and all those who are grieving, hurting, or carrying fear in their hearts.

Through the intercession of St. John Baptist de La Salle, may our schools remain places of safety, belonging, compassion, and hope. May we learn to listen, accompany, and care for one another, especially those who may be silently struggling.

May we choose peace over fear, compassion over indifference, and life over violence.

Let us pray for healing, for protection, and for the courage to build communities where every young person feels seen, heard, valued, and loved.

St. John Baptist de La Salle, Patron of Teachers, pray for us.
