O God, Father of mercies, whose Only Begotten Son, as he hung upon the Cross, chose the Blessed Virgin Mary, his Mother, to be our Mother also, grant, we pray, that with her loving help your Church may be more fruitful day by day and, exulting in the holiness of her children, may draw to her embrace all the families of the peoples. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Today, 24 May, we commemorate a moment of special significance for the Lasallian community. On this day in 1900, our Founder, St. John Baptist de La Salle, was canonized in Rome by Pope Leo XIII alongside St. Rita of Cascia, patron saint of impossible causes, whose feast day the Church celebrated last May 22.

As we remember this shared milestone in the life of the Church, may St. Rita inspire us to remain hopeful in times of difficulty, and may St. La Salle continue to guide us in our mission of faith and service.

O God, who by the mystery of today's great feast sanctify your whole Church in every people and nation, pour out, we pray, the gifts of the Holy Spirit across the face of the earth and, with the divine grace that was at work when the Gospel was first proclaimed, fill now once more the hearts of believers. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.

La Salle College Antipolo Institutional Retreat held at the Capuchin Retreat Center last May 21–22, 2026. Thank you to everyone who journeyed together in faith and community, making this retreat a meaningful encounter with God and one another.

On May 15, 2026, in celebration of the Feast Day of San Isidro Labrador, the Parish of San Isidro Labrador Parish held a procession featuring all the patron saints of the chapels under its jurisdiction. One of the participating chapels was dedicated to Saint John Baptist de La Salle. The image used during the procession was the same image enshrined in our school chapel.

May 15 | FEAST OF ST. JOHN BAPTIST DE LA SALLE, Universal Patron Saint of Teachers & Educators

Today, May 15, we joyfully celebrate the Solemnity of St. John Baptist de La Salle and commemorate the anniversary of his proclamation as the Universal Patron Saint of Teachers and Educators.

May his life of faith, service, and dedication to Christian education continue to inspire all teachers and mentors to guide the young with wisdom, compassion, and zeal.

O God, who chose Saint John Baptist de La Salle to educate young Christians, raise up, we pray, teachers in your Church ready to devote themselves wholeheartedly to the human and Christian formation of the young. The Celebration of the Holy Mass in Santuario de La Salle tomorrow, Friday, May 15, 2026 will be at 12:10 PM.

It will be presided over by Bishop Francis de Leon, our Bishop-Emeritus of Antipolensis - Roman Catholic Diocese of Antipolo

As one family, let us come together in prayer and thanksgiving as we honor the Patron Saint of Teachers and Founder of the Lasallian mission.
