BE FAITHFUL TO GOD'S CALLING
— with Pastora. Ange Elatico Cayanong
📖 1 Corinthians 4:2
“Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful.”
When the apostle Paul the Apostle wrote to the church in Corinth, he reminded them that servants of God are stewards—people entrusted with responsibilities that belong to someone else. A steward in biblical times managed the household, finances, and resources of the master. The steward did not own the property, but he was responsible for managing it properly.
In the same way, everything we have in ministry and leadership ultimately belongs to God. Our gifts, opportunities, influence, and positions are not ours by right; they are entrusted to us by the Lord.
Because of this, the most important requirement is not brilliance, charisma, or public recognition. According to Scripture, the essential requirement is faithfulness.
I. THE TRUST OF FAITHFULNESS
II. THE TEST OF FAITHFULNESS
III. THE TRIUMPH OF FAITHFULNESS
The calling of God is a sacred trust. Every believer has been entrusted with something—gifts, opportunities, responsibilities, and influence.
The question is not whether we have been called, but whether we will remain faithful to that calling.
