On October 7, the Church celebrates the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, a day rooted in the 1571 Battle of Lepanto when Christian forces, united under the Holy League, triumphed through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary after Europe rallied in praying the Rosary. Once called “Our Lady of Victory,” this feast reminds us of the power of prayer, the protection of Mary in times of trial, and the enduring call to entrust our battles, personal and communal, to her maternal care. ✝🙏
