As we celebrate the ๐๐๐ญ๐ก ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐๐๐ฒ, we are reminded that communication is not only a mission, but also a responsibility entrusted to us by God.
In this digital age where information spreads quickly and technology continuously evolves, we are called to use every platform, every story, and every voice to proclaim the Good News.
In his message for this yearโs celebration, Pope Leo XIV reminds us that our faces and voices are sacred, unique signs of our identity and of Godโs love within us. As modern evangelizers and digital missionaries, we are challenged not only to create content, but to actively participate in the Churchโs mission of evangelization, bringing the Gospel beyond the walls of the Church and into the digital spaces where people are present today.
Artificial intelligence and digital technology may continue to shape the way we communicate, but they should never replace genuine human encounter. Behind every post, caption, video, and shared story should be a person participating in the Churchโs mission of evangelization, witnessing to Godโs love in digital spaces. This is why our mission in social communications goes beyond media itself, it becomes a ministry of presence, empathy, and evangelization.
May we continue to become instruments of Christ in the digital world, using our God-given talents responsibly, creatively, and faithfully. As digital missionaries, may we remain the light and salt of the world, bringing Christ not only within the Church, but especially into the digital spaces where people seek truth, hope, and encounter with Him.
