There will be seasons when life feels overwhelming, when the “rivers” seems to deep and current seems to strong. Which results us to ask God to remove the waters. But God says to you this morning that, “I will be with you.” His presence is greater than the storm, and His strength is greater than our weakness.

So if you are currently walking through something you wish God would remove, be reminded that He is with you in the water. He is giving you grace for today, strength for the next step, and courage to keep moving forward.

And perhaps one day, when we look back, we will realize that the waters we prayed to escape became the very place where we experienced God's faithfulness most deeply.

Remember:
You don't have to cross the entire river today. Just take the next step with God.

Every morning is a reminder that God has given us another day to experience His grace.

Sometimes we think we need to have everything figured out before we can have peace. But faith teaches us something different: we can have peace even when we don't have all the answers. Notice that the psalm doesn't tell us to praise God only when everything makes sense. It calls us to praise Him day after day.

That is why we are called to praise Him “day after day.” Not only on sunny days when everything is going well, but also on rainy days when we are waiting, trusting, and holding on to faith.

Join our Sunday Service 9 AM here at VMCC PANDAYAN.
The rain may change the appearance of the day, but it doesn't change the One who created it.

Psalm 5:3 reminds us that the best way to begin each day is by seeking God. David intentionally came before the Lord in the morning, offering his prayers before anything else demanded his attention. This verse reveals a heart that trusts God enough to bring every concern, burden, and desire to Him at the start of the day.

Start this day with expectation rather than worry. Trust that the God who listens is also the God who leads, provides, and strengthens you for whatever lies ahead.

Proverbs 24:16 has already seen throughout Scripture. Peter denied Jesus three times, yet he was restored and became a bold leader of the early church. David experienced serious moral failure, but through repentance he found God's mercy. Paul endured persecution, imprisonment, and countless hardships, yet he continued pressing forward because God's grace sustained him. Their lives remind us that God is able to redeem failure and use imperfect people for His purposes.

Perhaps you've made mistakes that you wish you could undo. Perhaps you've prayed for something that has not yet happened, or you've grown tired from carrying burdens that seem too heavy. Remember that God's faithfulness is not measured by the absence of struggles but by His presence within them.

Every time you choose to trust God instead of giving in to despair, you are rising. Every prayer whispered through tears, every act of obedience when you feel weak, every decision to hope again is evidence of God's grace at work in your life.
So if you've fallen, rise again. If you've failed, seek His mercy. If you've grown weary, rest in His promises. God's grace is always greater, His mercy is new every morning, and His love remains steadfast through every season.
The story of the righteous is never about never falling it is about the God who faithfully lifts them up, again and again.

Faith often requires endurance.

There are seasons when progress feels slow and the results of your efforts seem distant. However, Hebrews 10:36 reminds us that faithfulness is not measured only by immediate success but also by steadfastness.

But let’s also keep in mind that God's promises are not portrayed as being earned by endurance, it is more of a path of faith. God calls believers to continue trusting Him.
Perseverance demonstrates genuine faith and keeps us walking with Him until His promises are fulfilled.

As this morning comes, don’t let yesterday’s difficulties define today’s hope.
Every step of obedience, every act of faith, and every decision to keep trusting God matters. Keep moving forward with confidence, knowing that perseverance has purpose and that God's promises remain trustworthy.

Let us shift our focus.

Before the psalmist declares where his help comes from, he first asks. This enables us to examine where we instinctively turn when life becomes overwhelming

So today, before we rush into our responsibilities or try to solve every problem, may we pause and fix our gaze, because it often determines the direction of our hearts.

May we choose to look to the Lord first, not as our last resort, but as our first response. In doing so, we acknowledge that true strength is found not in self-sufficiency, but in dependence on the One who never fails.

Have a blessed day, with your eyes and your heart fixed on Him

It moves from voice (ASK) to movement (SEEK) to persistence (KNOCK) and that progression matters.

ASK, it starts with the heart that become spoken. It’s when faith first becomes expressed instead of hidden. You give language to what you need, what you hope for, what you’re struggling with. It’s the moment something inside you is no longer silent.

SEEK, is movement because after speaking, you don’t stay still. You begin to act, search, and pay attention. Seeking is faith in motion, it means you are willing to walk through uncertainty instead of just waiting for everything to be clear first.

KNOCK, is persistence because it continues even when things seem closed. It’s not a one-time gesture,it’s a repeated presence. You stay at the door and don’t walk away just because there’s no immediate response.

So yes, verse Matthew 7:7 shows that faith doesn’t stay in one place.

It doesn’t just stay silent
It doesn’t just stay still
It doesn’t just give up
It’s a living faith that speaks, moves, and keeps showing up.

There are moments when our prayers feel small compared to our needs. We ask for strength to get through the day, wisdom for a decision, healing for a relationship, or provision for a challenge. This verse reminds us that God's ability is not limited by the size of our requests or the limits of our imagination.

Paul does not simply say God can do more than we ask. He says God can do far more abundantly than all we ask or even think. What seems impossible from our perspective is not beyond God's power. His plans can reach further than our expectations and unfold in ways we never could have designed ourselves.

As the verse stated, “the power at work within us.” God's work is not only around us; it is within us. Sometimes the miracle is not an immediate change in circumstances but the transformation of our hearts, giving us courage when we would have given up, peace when we would have been overwhelmed, and perseverance when we would have stopped.

Have a Blessed Sunday to everyone!

Today, we honor and celebrate a remarkable woman of God. Your loving heart, compassionate spirit, and even your tender "easy-to-cry" moments reflect how deeply you care for God's people and His work.

May the Lord continue to strengthen your body, renew your spirit, and bless you with good health, peace, joy, and many more years of fruitful ministry. May His grace always sustain you, and may He reward the work you do for His Kingdom.

Happy Birthday, Pastora Evangeline Jaim! We love, appreciate, and thank God for your life.

With love and prayers,
