Dark seasons are never easy. They often bring confusion, fear, loneliness, silence, and pain. There are battles that cannot be overcome by strength alone—they require the presence and guidance of God.
Sometimes, God allows dark seasons not to destroy us, but to prepare us. What feels like delay may actually be divine preparation. The cave was not David’s ending. The prison was not Paul and Silas’ ending. Even Calvary’s darkness became the birthplace of salvation.
Dark seasons reveal what is truly in our hearts. Some walk away from God in difficult times, while others choose to stay in His presence and trust Him even more deeply.
God uses these seasons to remove false foundations, deepen our roots, build intimacy with Him, and prepare us for greater purpose. There are things that only grow in the dark.
So if you are in a dark season right now, remember this: it is not abandonment—it is preparation. Delay is not denial, and God can still bring victory out of what feels hopeless.
Your dark season is not permanent. God is still working, even in the dark.
